'Gas' leak causes fiery end to surgery

Flatulence is being blamed for bringing a hospital patient's operation to a fiery end. 

The man suffered minor burns in a brief but "dramatic" operating theatre fire. He had gone into the Southern Cross Hospital in Invercargill to have haemorrhoids, or piles, removed and was singed in the "exceedingly rare" incident involving his own gas.  ...

 Sometimes it can be difficult to stay calm and focussed, when things get crazy and people do stupid things it's easy to get a bit jai rorn.  Next time that happens I'll be thinking about this guy...

The justice system here has been kicked around by the international press recently and even the most humble staff in my office seem to have a broader and more balanced perspective.  Often these critics think they know more than Thai people because they've read TKNS... big deal! ...

The partying started on Friday night, I was in Khon Kaen for a comp sci conference so I hooked up with some (ex) TF'ers and checked out some local bars. Then a sneaky trip to BKK for the TF party on Saturday.  Then back to Khon Kaen for a birthday party on Monday night, then Holloween party at Glow in BKK last night with the amazing DJ Nakadia.  Ok so I just wanted to freak people out with my horns again. See below for evidence and the lovely Nakadia... some dodgy looking TF'ers ...

 So Condi has given Thailand a stern ticking off and "urged coup leaders to get the Southeast Asian state back on the right path "very, very quickly." She apparently doesn't know much about the events.
