This little dog and his 17 year old owner/trainer won the final of last night's Britain's Got Talent show. The prize was £500,000, which is approximately 25,000,000 baht, plus an appearance in front of H.M. The Queen in the Royal Variety Show.

I bet she wished she didn't do it now...

I was watching the BBC's new talent show, The Voice last night. Didn't think much of it, but then this guy came on. What a voice! Reduced Jesse J, and will.i.am to tears. Watch his second song.

A bit of late-lunchtime levity now, in a story that's being picked up by many news sites online. A woman at her home in Kingswells, near Aberdeen, had a nasty shock when she found a 5ft-long snake in her loft - not what you want when you're trying to do the housework.

After a quick phone call the Scottish SPCA came to the rescue, ...

Boring video, and sh*t colours. but great idea. FLORA POLIS looks hot though.

Normally only seen much further north. Due to strong solar flare activity, the Northern Lights, aka Aurora Borealis have been visible over much of northern England and Scotland the past few nights.


Not sure if I posted this before, but part of a BBC documentary where Joanna Lumley searches out the Northern Lights. Watch the part from about 4:30 where the "Lights" appear:

Coming from London, where you double lock the doors, and close all windows when you go out, I gave the girl who welcomed me, a funny look, as if to say, "Yeah right", when she told me,"You don't need to lock your door here. But if it makes you feel better, you can put your passport and credit card in the safe".

So, the door to my bungalow has remained wide open since I got here. Even when I have gone diving all day. The key is hanging on the wall outside. I have slept with the doors ...

All packed. Off to the airport soon. Flying tonight. Thailand tomorrow. Woo Hoo!!!!
