It depends if there is a market for what you are advertising..........

it is well invested when it is well done: you can even create a market with advertising.
    Happy New Year naaa :P

Yeah agreed with Geee. It needs to be done properly and also depends what you are advertising. But advertising is very important (says the numba cruncha)!

It is an absolute BLOODY waste of money.

It gives power to the bigger companys with the bigger bucks.

There should be laws to say, if a product is no good, it can't be marketed.

Products should be rated on their performance, not thier advertising performance.

Hopefully removing all the rubbish from the market, saving resources

and cutting the cost of putting a product on the shelf for the consumer.

How many times have you been duped by false advertising claims ???

What I like about nCuba is ..
There is no ads on tv or newspaper only one radio station,
Radio Taino, —directed to tourists— promotes a few Cuban products like Cristal and Bucanero beers.

    Couldnt agree more with GAV..
What you need is what you need.. why ads?
    And we all know why..

That is a fine example of money well invested by the advertiser, it sells the product and presumably makes them a profit........

Agree with ShE. Having a profile on a dating website is a kind of advestising also, IMO. The different is you didn't sell your product (=you) and service (= what you do).

What kind of comments do you need? I think you started off with a question that wasn't very accurate.

If you need proper info (rather that opinion) for study/homework, PM me. I have been in the ad game for 30 years.

''The fastest way to kill a poor product is to advertise heavily'' as I am told.

Surely a product can only be judged on whether its good or not once it has been tried, marketed and tested. Advertising is basically based around making you think you need something when you probably dont. Unless you talking about tampons or soemthing like that, which you dont need a advert to tell you that you need some.lol

Teddy, we all girls need tampons but which brand should we buy... And that's what advertising for.

It is a waste of time unless you hire Peemarc to sort it for you.

(hope that cheque is in the post Marc)

Missy, I get what your saying but every brand are going to say they are best, its until you try them you wont really know whats best for you. Its the same as toothpaste, deodarant, soap, shampoo etc etc.
An old lecturer once said to me "did you know the best way to clean your teeth is with a cloth!?"
Now, was he telling the truth or trying to advertise a cloth?
To this day I still dont know. :-)
