I just finished shooting a shampoo commercial with BoA in Tokyo.

I wasn't sure who was more or an unreal, made-up product. The shampoo or BoA.

Didn't even bother to get her autograph. lol

(and yes, she a LOT smaller in real life)

Hmm...I have been in radio, television and post production all my working life, but never found any of the "house plants" as one of my friends, a director, used to call them, interesting enough to bother with.

The genuine stars are the ones that dont have to try...and those people are so down to earth that I usually didnt think of even asking at all, simply because they were just "one of the gang" working on the day.

Having met BoA, worked with her, talked with her and seen her in action, I dont think she is any more talented than the average. She is as much a product as a packet of Cornflakes. The real talent are her writers, management, producers and promoters. She is just pretty, average girl caught up in the whole 'star' dream along with her fans. All of whom are just being manipulated to make lots of cash.
