sawadee krab dear friend....yes,you re right,when normal man looking this-he will say-its impossable,terrible and etc....but in our present world this is only little part of devils deals...myanmar,kambodia,vietnam,lao,yugoslavia,iraq,nikaragua,chechnya,jammu and kashmeri....there was so many blood...you cant understand yourself....i m understanding you in your feelings,but...our really life is difficult,more stronger killing not strong,more clever stealling stupid and etc.what can we do?not born again?sansara wheal...how we can escape from wars,agression,ilness...i think that only god knows.....

I'd be more worried about this happening to innocent people in the south of Thailand everyday.

clubbing seals happens quite often. There was an outcry soe time ago about culling on the Namibian coast! really gory!

beating babies with clubs is not hunting its for fur. adult seals have the meat anyway. I don;t like veal either arrggg

you should see what is done to cows and chickens, but they are not cute fury animals with big eyes so nobody cares. i don't care about useing natural renewable resorurces to supply the economey, but the synthetic made from non renewable resources that are destroying our environment.

Hmm...I ver much disagree with this seal hunt/cull - and if they really MUST do it, for f*ck sake make it humane!

They say that shooting the animal is costly and it damages the pelt (the main reason for the hunt for baby fur-seals). I don't see how beating the shit out of a baby animal is NOT going to damage the fur!?!?! If they cant waste even a few square centimetres of fur to at LEAST save the animals this dreadful trauma of being beaten to death with a club, then how can they even think of themselves as human?

Hunting seals has been part of life for many fishing communities for centuries in eastern canada, these people do fishing in the summer and go seal hunting in the winter, its is not a sport. Its a very hard and dangerous work. Of course the pictures are disturbing, when we human kill animals there is always blood.

I agree with Pandorea on this.

How do you think that most animals that are raised to be eaten by humans are treated? Chickens, turkeys, cattle, etc. The more you learn, the more likely you are to become a vegetarian.
