Nothing he said is tangible or even remotely scientific.

In the same way I can argue for Christianity, Islam or any other religion. "The powerful being will smite the infidels!" "We are on a cosmic shift!" Yah right. It seems the world has been about power, sex and survival since the very essence of it's creation. It's what evolution is. Unfortunately, in modern terms it's not the best or the brightest that control the power.

Look if we have world peace, end world hunger and cure all diseases this will have to be shortly followed by imposing reproductive restrictions and converting to renewable energy. Otherwise the boom in the population would result in groups competing for dwindling resources... some groups would have more, some groups would have less. There would be a conflict - hence war, starvation and disease all over again. I would like to know what the open-spiritual community thinks about that?

You and 22 other open minded individuals move to a small island, leaving society behind. For the 1st 10 years you guys have it great. Paradise, socialism and peace. (Forget the inner squabbling over whose sleeping with who or who ate my TOFU!)

The 1st generation has 25 kids. (Now the population doubled.) You guys are still ok just everyone has less land. There are squabbles over using tools, vehicles and getting some of the members to contribute their share.

The next population boom takes us to total of 80 people. Now we have children, old people and young people... there is not enough land, for everyone. Thing have to be rationed out. Vehicles, tools and other shared items are on a strict schedule. The ones the work hard resent those with a bit more layed back attitude because they feel that those people wouldn't get an equal share if they don't work as hard. The young people don't understand their parents or share the same vision... Guess what happens next?
