whatever happened to.....

Rate this Entry
Recently europe has had record COLD temp's and NY had the coldest January on record and most snow fall in January in decades.....

So my question whatever happened to global warming? Where is that at? I'm freezing my lily white butt off have lost 5inches and 40 pounds expecting to be dressing warm year round! Agreed that pollution sucks is bad but maybe people went over a little over board on the doomsday scenarios needing to sell some books and movies. Well at least more of the lakes and rivers are getting cleaned up so can go swimming in them again and not end up growing a 3rd arm or something lol.

The wacky weather in NY,and other places is the result of changing weather patterns due to global warming.Record snow falls of one entire years worth in less than one month, and major flooding, and rain fall Down Under. This is due to all the extra water in the atmosphere from a warming planet. It will only get worse and fast.As the ice is melting very fast in northern Canada's tundra, the permafrost is disappearing. This will release very large amounts of methane gas that is currently locked in the ice making things even worse.

When you get one extreme (the warming weather), you also get the other extreme. The last year was a record high temperature year, and now we are getting the extreme cold to go with it. Have you ever been in the desert at over 40c, then it drops down to 10c at night.

Something on a whole different level has also speeded up. The magnetic poles are shifting at a faster pace also. The poles are the farthest they have ever been off the actual axis of the Earth. Through out ancient history, the magnetic poles have reversed. There is no record at all of life before, or after, any switch in the past. We are now over 50,000 years past the longest time before the magnetic poles have switched, and now they are shifting at a faster rate than they ever have before.

In the records, these are the magnetic patterns left in new basalt rock as it forms from lava flow, it records the direction of the magnetic poles in it's matrix when it cools. The magnetic poles don't just slowly shift, they switch all at once. They do what they are doing now, moving off axis, then at some point they totally flip. There is nothing to show, or explain, what will happen to all of the Earth when this happens because there are no records of life before this has happened in the past.

With the speed-up of the shifting of the magnetic poles, global warming might not be that significant in the long run. Try to imagine what might happen if the magnetic pattern in all your cells suddenly reversed. You might literally fall apart.....lololol.

koolbreez is right...global warming is bi...it goes both ways, bats for both the warm and the cold team, etc.

No one doubts global warming, but whether or not it's humans' fault is a whole other discussion in the forums. I stay away from that one
