Northern Lights over U.K.

Rate this Entry
Normally only seen much further north. Due to strong solar flare activity, the Northern Lights, aka Aurora Borealis have been visible over much of northern England and Scotland the past few nights.

Not sure if I posted this before, but part of a BBC documentary where Joanna Lumley searches out the Northern Lights. Watch the part from about 4:30 where the "Lights" appear:

My best friend saw them on a flight back from Thailand. He is the most unemotional dude, and he was close to tears explaining how beautiful it was to see it from 10,000 feet in the air.

That's when I realized that he was gay along with Aurora Borealis.

On a more serious note...imagine a Thai trying to say Aurora Borealis.

    HAHAHAHA.
