Is learning so important that play becomes a bad thing? Why spend so many hours in school, but need to study the same subjects in a tutorial school?
I imagine the reason you study the same things in tutoring is because you didn't learn those subjects well enough in regular class. :-)
Or is there something missing in the regular class?
maybe the concentration during the class .....
in the tutorial school teach technic you can win the examination, focus on the examination...
My question was really about play. In Thailand, why so many ppl think play is not such a good thing???
Shairai, in some regard I cannot understand you as in my perception for Thais the whole life is a play/game. Not often you find them thinking anything is serious. And be assured, Thais like to play a lot - may it be to the good (distraction, fun) or the bad (gambling, not taking issues for serious). One thing is that we farang have a different perception - of "serious" as well as of "play". Not without reason the living room is called "room of sitting and playing" in Thai!
Wonderful but not serious พูดเล่น is not the same as play for children where they can discover what they like, be wild and free, creative social contacts etc. Who is Thai and think their children play too much!?
