Having some nice weather to come back to has been a big help. Jeab and I have spent a lot of time looking for a new place to live, and we found a great place right outside of Boston. It reminds us a lot of Centre Point in Thailand, but much bigger. There are about 20 buildings, tennis courts, fitness centers, pools, pool tables, movie theaters...all within the community. There is also a Hooters 1 mile away.

It’s strange to be back here in Thailand. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. This isn’t going to be an “I love Thailand” journal. The New Year rang in for us quietly. The girls were asleep in their beds, and I was watching the ball drop on TV here in New York. Honestly, it was a lonely point. I can't remember a New Year passing being completely alone since my bed time was 11:00 PM (even then I can't remember it).
