Things are good here, going to Malaysia next week to get a student visa; I can stay for one more year - wohoo!
The weather here is nice, not really cold, for me, but nice and cool at night, making it easy to sleep. How's Bkk, still lots of water everywhere?

I wasn't really thinking of going to the beach... you can take diving lessons in central Bkk now since there's so much water everywhere

One km is not far, that's only about 10 to 15 minutes of walking!!!! I can understand about the expensive resort though, 150 baht per meal is an outrage! Nov 21? That's a long holiday! Hope you can enjoy it - you could always take diving lessons downtown, eh? 55
