So your relationship is starting to become serious and you don't use a condom anymore.
She's not using medicine to prevent pregnancy also, but you don't want any children at the moment

What will you do :

A. Get out before you come! :cry:

well if it's a serious topic surely u should be discussing it with ur gf and not all of TF. it is a pretty personal matter and does require some thought. sure her taking the pill is probably the best option, but some girls do have serious side effects from taking birth control. this can range from weight gain to psycho behaviour. different pills have different properties and varying side affects.perhaps the two of u should visit a good GP and weigh up ur options.
personally speaking i think pulling out b4 u come is about as good an idea as debating what method to use here on TF. the world's population would surely be a lot smaller if man didn't use this method so much .......

I definitely think option B is better but there are a few things you might want to consider Mendez. The pill could make your gf gain weight and become moody. it also makes people allergic to wearing contact lenses sometimes.

In addition, it will take 3 months of pill-taking before she is completely safe and this means she has to take it religiously without missing any or start over again. Also if she stops for some reason after a few months there is a 95% chance that her next period will be totally messed up and she could have a VERY long period for the first month after she stops (think a 30 day period).

On the other hand, the pill will regulate her cycle perfectly and she will know exactly when her period will come and for how long. They may also be lighter with lighter cramps. I think the pill can be pretty effective IF it is taken properly. Well anyway, good luck with whatever you decide and best wishes to you and your gf.
