my predictions:

Germany 3 - Ecuador 1 (although both teams r qualified, Germany will be eager to win for his own crowd. Look also at the third match and just turn it around. I think Germany prefers to play Sweden in the knock out phase))

Poland 1 - Costa Rica 1

Sweden 1 - England 1 (there will be kind of conspiracy, it happened before in WC's, both teams playing only not to lose. England will be the leader of the group with 1 point and facing Ecuador in the next round instead of Germany. Sweden will have Germany than. But still better to have a draw and go to the next round than losing and maybe leave the WC)

T&T 0 - Paraguay 2 (if Sweden could predict that, they wouldn't care about winning or losing from England. But u never know)

hmm...I wasn't too far off...

SPAIN 3-1 TUNISIA
SAUDI ARABIA 0-4 UKRAINE
TOGO 0-2 SWITZERLAND

THAIBEL: a draw for england and sweden doesn't mean the fix is in, it's just that draw is all they need. there's no need for either team to take too many chances, can rest players if need be, perhaps avoid injuries, yellow cards etc.......

but I really think TnT will win because it's the only way to make it through..should sweden lose....paraguay are going home...no matter what...TnT will work harder for a win.

Poland is just that much better then costa rica...I really liked what I saw in the game against germany....definitely one of the better teams NOT to make it through!

If I could predict a higher score for Germany without sounding wishful, I would...those fucking flopping, diving, acting ecuadorian pussies need a proper slapping!

btw...just watched the highlights from the spain game....Spain was down until the 71st minute??? and one of their 3 goals was a weak penalty in the 91st?doesn't sound too convincing for a team some think will make it to the final. Anyone see the game?

Bruce, 'conspiracy' was maybe a too strong word for it. I agree with u that both teams knows they hv enough with 1 point. It depends the first half, if they still have a draw than. There will not be much of a game anymore. England will try to save some players from hurting or fatigue themself.
Considering the match between T & T and Paraqauy. I find Paragauy a better team. Maybe T & T is playing a fresh kind of football, but on the tacticall side of the game they r weak, when I see them play it looks like the African teams. New, fresh football without any brains. Nice too watch, but it leads to nothing.
