instead of just limiting messages and testi's to 5 a day why not just give 'newbies' a limited time to try out the site? then once they've had their 'dime bag' of TF hit them with a credit card bill and a message telling them how many votes they have waiting for them to see if they really want to be a part of this great online community of ours!! :roll:

i am sure that most of the members here can not afford to pay to be premium members or have better uses for their money. free members make up a majority of the membership to this site. so would you rather have just a few people that contribute to the site and maybe get to know or would you like more of a variety?

well i've been a "freebie" member for nearly 3 years now and it's been worth every $ so far ....

BTW ... Ron about those chicken and pineapple satays with the FREE buffet any feedback yet .... just asking like !!!

the ability to interact and use this site as a free member is one of the things that make this site great. the biggest obstacle to paying is not having a credit card, and don't say paypal because that requires a credit or or US bank account as well. finding enough cash would also be a problem for some. the site is working very well as it is and i don't think you would get very many more premium members by kicking people off after a trial period.. there would just be a way fewer people here. anyway don't think it is likely to happen.. the only thing i can't figure out is why no other sites have done the same thing..

the biggest obstacle to paying is not having a credit card, and don't say paypal because that requires a credit or or US bank account as well.

For Thailand residents I believe it is also possible to pay cash by ATM transfer. One can PM AdminTF about this option.

I agree this is all part of what makes the site great?We should avoid becoming elitist at all cause?Come one, come all to this craziest of communities on the web?
