Vista problems arise.

I am experiencing problems with Vista Ultimate at the moment.
I"ve used it for the past 8 months & now when it updates, it fails. So no updates.
Realplayer download button has disappeared even though it is set for downloading in preferences, (download button is checked) so I can't download vids from Youtube or Lubeyortube (hahaha!) not to mention Dreanscenes wallpaper has gone blank - Just a black screen

What should I do? Any advice?

Or Linux. I have just converted my HP over to a linux os and it is great. Could not ask for a better system. Not to mention it is Free.

You can use Real Alternative instead of Realplayer. You get the codec and VLC Player so you can play RMVB and the associated RP files with out having to use Realplayer which is notorious for problems with Vista. It crashes quite a lot, uses loads of memory, which you probably won't have to much of to spare if you use Vista, and the download button sometimes doesn't work at all.

The firefox plugin for video download works perfectly.
