Posting here too because I feel some here might have it that don't read that forum often.
Some time ago, someone showed me a really neat Thai Dictionary installed on their iPhone.
I just bought an iPod Touch (same thing actually without the phone and camera)
and I'm looking for a decent Thai Dictionary to install.
This was a dictionary that had a Thai keyboard to enter the word in Thai.
I'm here for three weeks. Please let me know where to go to get one installed. MBK? Pantip? etc.
Thanks.

It turns out, or seems, that since I have the lastest model of the new iPod Touch
My newest version is not compatible with the outdate software with the older iPhones that are mostly used here.

My new version is also much thinner than both the iPhone and the previous model iPod Touch.
Please let me know if you're aware of a Thai dictionary.

I just downloaded this application on my iPod Touch.

I'm not sure if you can access the Apple Apps store in Thailand. I had
to register here through iTunes and enter a credit card. I paid $4.99
for this dictionary, but it's wonderful and seems much better than
WeDictPro.
It's actually created by the adaption of LEXiTRON

I'm extremely happy with it.

That's not the problem. The problem is that WeDictPro is not an official iPod App. While Apps on iTunes are open source, they must be approved by Apple.Your not making much sense, i'm running the latest software which will be the same version that is running your touch... You have the app store right? Click it, and search "Thai"
Unlocked/hacked iphones still have access to the app store like everyone else.
WeDictPro is not a legally authorized App and must be put on my unlocking the phone (unauthorized software). So, my phone couldn't be unlocked. WeDictPro is not part of iTunes.
However, I've discovered QuikDict, described above.

Thai Dict
1.0 True Move Company Limited

A new App was just released. This is English-Thai only, English keyboard only.
I've downloaded it and tested it out.
It's a well designed English to Thai dictionary based on popular LEXITRON dictionary database developed by NECTEC.
Features:
- Over 80,000 words
- No internet connection required
Languages:
English/Thai
You have to type the entire word and click on the search button. Hence, the word must be typed and spelled correctly.
--------------------------------
However, I still prefer Quik Dict

The words scroll as you type them, in both Thai and English.
Well worth the $4.99.
There are some other fee-based Thai Apps and dictionaries I may try in the future and evaluate here as well.

@Rooblaw
Be careful when you are posting a new topic, for some reason there was two identical threads.
One deleted.

There have been so many updates since I"ve last posted here about 12 months ago.
It appears that at least two of them are using Lexitron now, and now with the iPod 3.0 software update, they're using the built-in Thai keyboard as well.
QuikDict is the one I use most.
