Greetings! Yesterday I really had a blessed day. Church,work,gym,movie (Fill the Void, it Sucked) and TF. Today, and every day I woke to the sound of my favorite band. THey are called "Everything But The Girl" I heard one of their songs about 6 years ago and really dug it. Thus I took a chance and bought the CD and EVERY song was outstanding. They are a British husband and wife team and their lyrics are great. Since that first purchase I have now collected all their CD's and enjoy them all equal
One of my passions is seeing movies and yesterday afterwork/gym I saw an independent movie named "Osama". It was very good yet extremely disturbing. It was filmed in Afganastan before 9/11 twin towers attack. It was about the life of a young girl (about12) who lived with her mother and grandmother. Her father had died during a previous war. Whew! Yestereday was a tough one. We were short staffed at work and we had a few "problem people" visit us in custody. There is always alot of misery comming in and out of our building plus some very "bad" people. Yet yesterday with the overcrowding and understaffing it was a terrible combo. Luckily I was able to leave on time and go to the gym and release some of my tension. Well here it is Monday morning again!!!! The weekend was wonderful (even though interrupted by 10 hours of work). I had a nice jog,exercise and prayer this morning followed by an "interesting" and "informative" phone call with a very good friend who lives 8650 miles away. It lasted a little longer than I expected, Ouch when the phone bill comes:) Oh well, keeping in touch with friends is priceless. Hope to have a good week,and wishing you all a good week too. Delmar
Its a beautiful day here in Calif. I read a journal entry from a "very good" friend and the comments kind of bummed me out. Thus the day,although sunny, seemed glooomy to me. I prepared to have a depressing day (which seldom ever happens) until I was able to speak to her. After hearing her voice the sun began to shine again.

Days like today really make me miss "The Land of Smiles" because to day I am working at traffic school. Which means I am surrounded by 400 angry people who do not enjoy spending 9 hours on a beautiful saturday cooped up in a windowless building listening to boring instructors talk about the "Rules of the Road". Hi TF friends! Just back from my early morning jog and have a few minutes to spare before hopping into shower. Yesterday (wed) I skipped jogging for church and went to the 6:30 am mass which I have been doing evry WEdnsday for over 2 years. I used to go every day before I was transferred to a new assignment further away, so now I only make the journey on Wed. and Sun. I aalways give thanks to God each day for my Family,Friends,Health and career. And any other things I may need his help with. Ye
