Makes a mockery of all those so-called "experts" who believed they know how Thais will vote, because they live in Thailand.
HAHA.
Dear Members,
I seek a special request from all those who are friends to Sinenat (My girlfriend).
She and her family are very distraught at the moment.
The reason is because a very tragic accident has occurred to a very close friend of the family.
Last Tuesday morning, a helicopter crashed in Northern Thailand.
Unfortunately all on board - including her family friend, died (refer to the

Just last week, my girlfriend sister's bike was stolen. A witness who saw it told them who it was - it was actually a boy her sister knew.Any way, this thief immediately traded the bike in for $8000 bahts to an illegal gambling house, which he promptly lost. So he ran off and disappeared. But before he did, he provided details and telephone number of my gf's sister. So the owner of the illegal gambling den, decided to call up my gf's sister demanding repayment of $8000 bahts plus interest of 1
This is just my opinion. Today's ruling on the Thaksin case will have ramifications in the financial sector of Thailand.Basically, the government's case is that Thaksin whilst in office as Prime Minister used his position to favour the company his children and relatives held shares in - Shin Corp. Some of the facts about Shin Corp share price gains:Shin Corp shares gained some 121 percent between the period of Feb 9, 2001, when Thaksin took office to when he sold it on Jan 23 2006.By comparison
There are a lot of controversies surrounding this issue.Below is a summary of all the legal arguments for and against Thaksin and his family.Note: I have offered no opinion. Just thought more facts, rather than hyperboles, should be provided.Thailand's Supreme Court will rule on Friday on whether to confiscate 76.6 billion baht ($2.3 billion) worth of assets belonging to the family of ousted former premier Thaksin Shinawatra. The twice-elected Thaksin is accused of concealing shares in his family

Thousands of tech-savvy Eastern Europeans are earning up to $US4000 ($4600) a day for each spam campaign selling illegal penis pills, fake anti-virus software and counterfeit luxury products.
An investigation by Russian security researcher Dmitry Samosseiko found most spam on email, search engines and social networking sites originates from well-organised Russian affiliate networks - known as "partnerka" - which pay people generous commissions for referring unwitting web users to their illegal
Another trip has just ended.
I am tired and exhausted.
I can't wait to get home to catch up on my sleep - another 5 hours to go before my plane arrives at Melbourne airport - can't come too soon!!!
Still I am relieved and happy with this business trip.
I had started this trip with a bit of trepidation, afterall, 2008 was one hell of a year for businesses and investments.
I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised to see that my biggest client has weathered the storm.
I was ev
How do you react when you are rejected by someone on the internet?
Do you say no problems and move on?
Or do you call her all sorts of names like a bar girl, a fat girl or a dark skin girl?
A funny thing happened to me today whilst I was doing my shopping.
Yes, I was offered FREE money by a large US bank - well literally free- at 2.9% for the first 12 months and a new credit card.
Any way, the amount offered to me was $5,000 cash (the equivalent of about $130,000 bahts) and the credit limit offered to me was $25,000.
OMFG!!!
What did I do to deserve that?!?
Nothing!!!!
All I needed to get this loan was my driver's licence and my buisness card!!!
Of course,
I am hearing so much about the political problems in Thailand.
I am just wondering whether it is safe to fly into Suvarnabhumi Airport at the moment.
The last time I was there, there were lots of police and military men with guns.
Thanks for any advice.
Good day,
Does anyone have any recommendation on Ho Chi Minh hotels?
I am looking for hotels in the price range of $70 to $100 USD a night.
I would prefer hotels to be close to transport and the city.
Thanks in advance.
July 31 (Bloomberg) -- The wife of former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and her brother were sentenced to three years in prison for evading taxes, the first conviction in a string of cases filed against the ex-premier's family since he was ousted in a 2006 coup.
Pojamarn Shinawatra, 50, and her brother Bhanapot Damapong were met by cheering supporters at Bangkok Criminal Court before today's verdict was read. The siblings were accused of collaborating and conspiring to evade tax and p
