Well, My trip is over, back to work, back to reality!!
It was a very busy trip, squeezing a lot of things into a short space of time.
In the early hours ot eh 26th, I flew Bangkok to London with Emirates, with a stop over in Dubai. It was the first time I had flown with Emirates, and I have to say, I wasn't at all impressed. First, at Bangkok airport, after check in / passport control etc, I heard my flight being called, with the FINAL call, an hour before it was due to depart. I rushed to the
Well, the trip is over, and I survived! Had a great time in the UK seeing friends, some of whom I have not seen for 5 years. Then on to Dubai...WOW! What a place! Bloody hot also...45C most days.Anyway, after 9 straight days of self abuse, plus all of the self abuse in Bangkok during July with the extra TF parties, I am on salad and water for a while. Off to work now, will post some pics later.It's good to be home:)
Well, the time has finally come. Aftedr 3 years, I leave Bangkok tonight and am off home.
I arrive in the UK tomorrow, and stay for 4 days, then onto Dubai, for 3 days.
Although the UK is seeing the worst summer weather ever recorded, I am reluctantly looking forward to it, especially seeing friends I have not seen in a long time.
My poor liver is in for a long bashing, but it's used to it:)
Mum flies out tomorrow evening, and we will meet in our old home town on Saturday for lunch with fami
Well, it was a great couple of days. I can remember very little, but according to the photo's, I enjoyed it.
It all started with Lunch at the Phuket Yacht club, along with free flowing wine!! (They made NOOOOOO profit from us!!)
My old friend and neighbour, from when i was living in Phuket, Khun OK. (Yes, that really is his nickname!!)
After the Yacht club, but before getting TOTALLY wasted, we had some quality time with Adam & Montha's Son, and their two 1 month old Twin Neic
Off to Phuket in the morning.
I think this time, although I go around twice a month, is going to be the most relaxing and appreciated time of all.
Tomorrow, we will be met by old and dear friends of mine at the airport, and then go to have Sunday Brunch at the Phuket Yacht Club, with unlimeted wine!!!
In 12 hours from now, I will be sitting on a beach, with my friends, totally wrecked, and winding down.
Tuesday we fly back.
It's gonna be a good couple of days:)))))))

Well, Monday was the funeral of Mike. We started at the temple, and sent him off on his journey.
After the temple, we did the only thing that Mike would have wanted us to do, and headed straight for the pub.
Many came, more joined in the evening, far more than signed up. There was a lot of love, and laughter, which was just how thing should be. It's a celebration of his life, simple.

Yesterday, as you are all aware, saw the funeral of Khun_Lung, Mike. Many people came, both to the funeral, and the wake. I would like to say a huge thanks to all who came. I know some took time from work, Nu came from Dubai ESPECIALLY for the funeral - a huge effort by a lot of people. For those who could not make it, thank you for your messages, sms's etc...Monday is not the easiest day to 'get away' I know, and I am sure that Mike knew that you were there in spirit.Today, I will take Mike on
I have today with the consent of Mike's Family in the US, arranged the funeral / cremation for Mike. It will take place on Monday 16th July, at 1:15pm, at Makok Temple.The nearest BTS station is Victory Momument. It is with regret, that I have to inform you that Mike, Khun_Lung, succumbed to his long illness this evening, and passed away at Phaya Thai hospital.
As all of you are aware, he left hospital a few days ago, and returned home. He then found professional help and care.
In the early hours of this morning, he was once again taken into hospital with breathing difficulties. He returned home again at 7pm this evening, but at 8pm, he suffered total respitory faliure.

This afternoon, I had some things to do at the request of Mike, with the last minute help of Blackrose. Thank you, Anna.
We then went to see Mike in the hospital. After spending some time there, it was time to say our goodbye's - time to go to work.
I gave the old sod a hug, and as I went to stand up again, I accidentally pulled his oxygen tube out LOL
He mimed a guy in a vacume, and smiled. He's still got his sense of humour:)

I just got back from the hospital. No change really from what Giles said earlier, except that his Oxygen blood level has dropped to a dangerous level.
They wanted to give him a full face oxygen mask to try and put that right, but Mike was protesting. Even after I threatened to kick his ass, he STILL refused it. So the Nurses finally gave him some knock out sleeping medicine, and put on the mask.
As I left the numbers on the screen were SLOWLY beginning to creep up again in the right directio
