Just a quick note to thank all the TFer's who joined in the party last night at Absolute. I wish I had more time to sit and chat, but as you know...it was wall to wall people in there and my dance card was quite full!

I started a new job about 2 months ago and as a result, my cash flow has improved...not drastically...but enough that I can pick up the odd tab. My Scottish heritage and stingy nature have always gotten in the way of me simply thowing money away, but hopefully never to the point where people thought I was cheap.

Stopped by to see my DVD lady last night, and to my surprise, picked up the latest installment in the ROCKY series entitled "Rocky Balboa"....The story line goes "a few years after a personaly tregedy, Rocky steps back into the ring".....Odd thing, in spite of Stalone's advanced years, it's a pretty good movie! I can't believe this is the second brithday that I will help Pong celebrate. Time flies! Last year, for various reasons, we waited to celebrate her day....about 6 weeks actually....Going to Koh Samed was the b-day thing. Oh...and if I remember correctly, I spent the week, leading up to her birthday, vote whoring to make her numberonein the top 5.
