Wat Phu Khao Kaew in PHIBUN MANGSAHAN halfway on the road from Ubon Ratchatani and Khong Chiam off highway 217 near Laos border.This attractive modern temple stand on a hill where you can see Laos in the horizon. The Candles Festival is one of the biggest all over Thailand but Ubon Ratchatani is where the action is and the most important. This festival is held 3 days around the full moon in July.
