..... i don't want a tour guide.
But what i do want is some information from people in Samui and Phuket. Booked for Songkran on Samui but obviously with the floods this is in serious jeapordy and i'm preparing to cancel. What are the forecasts from the 12th April onwards or is it too early to tell?
In all honesty although my heart was set on Samui it is likely that I will switch my attention to Chiang Mai however Phuket remains an option and was wondering if anybody can tell me how bad the w
Today i found out my mum has breast cancer....i think they have caught it early so hopefully everything will be ok but i have no idea how to cope with this.
The last time i lost a close family member was over 20 years ago when i was 7....i think i am really lucky in this respect...although i did lose a good friend at the age of 28 2 years ago when working in Hong Kong. It hit me really hard and the fact i only knew the guy a few weeks scares the **** out of me should today's news not turn out
Well there's my excuse for my next trip to Thailand and next years holiday sorted!

The FA has today confirmed that England will travel to Thailand in June 2011 for a friendly international.

The father says, "Yes".
And they ran their first marathon together.

1st woman: Hi! Wanda.
2nd woman: Hi! Sylvia. How'd you die?
1st woman: I froze to death.
2nd woman: How horrible!
1st woman: It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold, I began to get warm & sleepy, and finally died a peaceful death. What about you?
2nd woman: I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act. But instead, I found him all by himself in the den watching TV.
1st woman: So, what happene
Teddy posted a flash mob journal the other day which was pretty good but this one is something special, watch the woman at the front of the crowd and then wait.....amazing!
Always been a fan of the BEP since before they became fully commercialised and well known (i'm talking pre 2000 here and before fergie joined them) and this is one of my favourite songs that they have done. I think fergies voice is amazing and she is hot!!
Roman Abramovich's former yacht (now owned by one of his mates as he 'gave' it to him) paid a visit to my island, Guernsey, today for a 'cheap' refuel. They put 100 tonnes of fuel from 9am in the morning until 3pm this afternoon. Here is a photo that was taken today in Guernsey Harbour. Here is all of it's tenders....I mean it has a 60ft sunseeker as well as a huge sailing yacht for heavens sake!!!! Not to mention the helicopter (2 x helipads) and several other smaller vessels. Not a bad toy
This new documentary series explores the ugly side of tourism in Thailand.
But it's not all scandal and sensationalism.
Every year, thousands of Brits flock to Thailand in search of the country's famed abundance of sun, sea and sin.
But a party paradise isn't always on the cards when young tourists misunderstand local customs or fall foul of the country's notoriously tough legal system. Minor misdemeanours can mean grave consequences, and a dream holiday can easily become a nightmare.

Some old, some bad, some good. Enjoy1. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married.
The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.
2. A set of jump leads walk into a bar.
The bartender says, 'I'll serve you, but don't start anything.'
3. Two peanuts walk into a bar, and one was a salted.
4. A dyslexic man walks into a bra.
5. A man walks into a bar with a slab of asphalt under his arm, and says:
'A beer please, and one for the road.'

I spent the past few days in Amsterdam, mainly for the football on Wednesday but also to check out a club called Panama on the Friday, which resulted in us missing our flight on Saturday morning. It cost us 95 euros but thankfully there was one at midday which meant our connection home wasnt missed.Anyway as some of you know the game finished 2-2 with England coming back from 2-0 down at half time. Here is a selection of photo's from the trip;England fans begin to gather at Dam Square. There wa
I posted a video of these guys doing Michael Jackson's 'thriller' the other day and now they have put together this poignant tribute in very little time. They have done all sorts of choreographing to songs, ranging from Soulja Boy to S Club 7, which can be found on youtube. A tribute performed by 1,500 CPDRC Inmates on June 27, 2009 in memory of Michael Jackson. Completed in 10 hours after receiving word that the King of Pop passed away. May he always be remembered.
