Leroy lives on the Farm.
His mother tells him no breakfast until he does his chores.
Well, he's a little ticked off so when he feeds the chickens, he kicks a chicken. When he feeds the cows, he kicks a cow, and when he feeds the pigs, he kicks a pig.
He goes back in for breakfast and his mother gives him a bowl of dry cereal.
"'How come I don't get any eggs and bacon, and why don't I have any milk in my cereal?" he asks.
"'Well," his mother says, "I saw you kick a chicken, so you don'

You would think after Phong's birthday party on Koh Samed the end of last month that we would slow down abit and fall back into our daily routines . . . but nooo . . . it appears our daily routine is not having a daily routine . . . Tuesday, I got a message from Khun Ed. He had just made the border run to renew his visa . . . and yes it's true . . . he only got 14 more days, because they always include the day you renew. Not so good for Ed since he is heading to Afganistan to work the first we
Last night Phong and I joined up with some neighbors and ventured to the local Obithor(Town Hall) near our home to celebrate the King's Birthday. There were hundreds of people there along with food and other types of vendors. We were entertained by some of the local school children, who danced and sang for us. At one point, fireworks were shot off from two directions, exploding directly over my head . . . it was quite a sight!! Meanwhile, candles were passed around to everyone as we honored

A cable guy showed up at my house and told my wife he had to make some adjustments because some of the channels had changed. Of course, I was very curious because I get excellent reception here. Anyway, he preceded to "Fine Tune" my channels, but actually wasn't changing anything until he got to ASTV1, which some of you may know as the PAD channel. He "Fine Tuned" it to another channel that I already have . . . . . . . very interesting . . . I changed it back after he left . . . . Have any
Music in the 60's and 70's wasn't just about the British Invasion, Hard rock, Psychodelic,Progressive Rock and Heavy Metal. There was another sound that filled the airwaves . . . It was called "THE MOTOWN SOUND". Amazing artists like: Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, The Jackson Five, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles and more made incredible music and still has meaning for us today. Here's a song from "The Temptations" that should bring back memories for some of you . . .
Papa Was
One of my favorite bands from "The British Invasion" years was "The Hollies". Their unique vocals, with Allan Clarke and Graham Nash, were easily recognizable. Whenever I get into the easy listening mood, I always play this song . . . just something very special about it . . . He Ain't Heavy . . . He's My Brother . . .
I hope you're having a great weekend!! (Don't forget to sing along.)
This is second hand info . . . so I'm not sure how true this is . . . but I hear the police are still at it. Gassing protesters and killing 2 people. I hear they have even attacked the Queens Army personel working at a hospital. Doctors are saying that it's not normal tear gas . . . that it's stronger and burns more . . . Has anyone heard anything about this??
Hey!!! It's Sunday!!! I'm always posting songs in my journals . . . so I thought it would be nice to start the new week off with one of my favorite Thai songs from one of my favorite Thai artisits . . . Here's . . .

No Passing
You are driving along a narrow two lane road with a NO PASSING sign posted, and you come upon a bicycle rider.
Do you:
A - Follow this slow-moving bicycle rider for the next 2 miles, or.......
B - Do you break the law and pass?
The correct answer is:
A: Why take unnecessary risks and get a ticket?
Enjoy your weekend!!
Here's a fun video clip I found from the TV show "Laugh-In" (I believe) Featuring Lily Tomlin as the telephone lady and Three Dog Night. This amazing band had 3 lead singers and produced 21 straight Top 40 hits from 1969-1974 . . .
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
If ever there was a time for the world to pull together and work together . . . it's now!! Canned Heat knew this back in 1970 . . .
Have a wonderful day!!!
