How to build a computer in under 8 minutes (time-lapse) A video I made of me building a new PC.

This is a video I made of Cheung Chau, a small island about 10km from Hong Kong Island - cool place but has the rather dubious distinction of being the territory's faveourite destination for stressed-out city dwellers to come when they want to commit hari-kiri. It's one of Hong Kong smallest inhabited islands and home to one of Hong ong's oldest temples. There are paved roads but no cars - only bicycles and motorised car thingies for the emergency services. You can get views of Lantau and Hong Ko
Just a short video I made of a really nice shopping mall in Hong Kong - Festival Walk. It's comprises over 1 million square feet of retail space, an 11 screen cinema and an ice-rink but what I love about it is the huge 6 story atrium and glass sky-light which allows natural light to flood the interior. The day I shot this was sunny and it looked very beautiful. You can even see one of the mountains (I think it's Sze Wan Shan) through the rear window - so coool You can watch in high quality her
I was thinking back to my time in Thailand this year, and looking through some photographs I decided to make a video. I spent eight months based in Krabi, I moved back to Hong Kong about a month ago; it was time to move on but I had a wonderful time there. I'd never really seen a great deal of the south and only ended up there by chance, but I'm glad I did. Amazingly I was offered a job as Editor of a couple of travel magazines so I still managed to travel around quite a bit. This video is
Kuen Baan Mai A Buddhist House Blessing on the Island of Koh Pu For the few people that venture off the beaten track, Koh Jum, known locally as Koh Pu, has become the island paradise many dream about - an island of secluded bays, quiet beaches and longtail boats rocking gently on calm, clear waters. For Andrew Truswell it has become much more. A chance encounter while on holiday on the Island of Koh Phi Phi gave the Sydney based lawyer the opportunity of purchasing a plot of l
2 days ago I found my lovely cat, lucky in a rubbish pile near my house. I think he was murdered, he had a broken neck. I'm having some trouble coming to terms with his death.
He lead a rather tragic life. He lost his 2 brothers, one dissapeared and the other was press-ganged and is now a member of a militant organisation. Lucky was abandoned when he was a kitten, probably because of his deformed leg, he was accutely paranoid, and had a genuine and chronic fear of water.

I haven't looked forward to seeing a film so much since the last time. 'The Golden Compass' is a film adaption of 'Northern Lights' The first book in Phillip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy, one of my favourites off all time. Whilst taking lots of delicious swipes at institutionalised religion, Phillip Pullman portrays all the people one would normally associate with actions of a moral up-standing nature as baddies, and all the goodies are gypsies, travellers, warriors and free spirits.
I feel like I'm at a bit of a crossroads at the moment. I don't mean in a metaphorical sense, but literally.I'm having trouble deciding where to go next. I mean, if I turn right out of Hong Kong I can be in Shanghai in about 24hrs. If I hang a left I can make my way down to Vietnam and if I get on one of them there aeroplanes I can go to the Philippines or Japan. I might just head back to Thailand and then decide, hehe I kinda miss the place.
I hope everyone has a good weekend and I hope ev
Hi Peeps,
It's Matty again!
"The tremendous journey has begun... The Buddha in each of us knows that no scriptures can save a single soul unless that soul makes the effort to achieve enlightenment. What is enlightenment? How is it reached? This the scriptures can answer. This is why the comrades must brave the dangers and difficulties of a great journey to fetch them... Not the least of the difficulties of course come from Monkey himself..." This is from the pilot episode of Monkey.

Does any one know why there aren't any doors and very low walls in the cubicles in the toilets in China so everyone can see you go to the poo? Anyway, I'm a bit bored at the moment. I'm going to Kunming later. The bus leaves at 10pm and it's only 5.25 now so I got some time to kill but I'm too lazy to write anything to my 'secret blog that no one knows about' and I've had enough of learning tone rules for middle class consonants. So I think I'll just write whatever comes into my tiny mind and s
Noticed an extra wobble in your partners stride?
Use your girlfriend/boyfriend for resistance training and you'll both benefit!!!!!
They asks how they look and your mouth gives the clever, calculated answer that will save you from an ear-bashing, but really you're thinking "Not like you used to."
There's no tantrum-free formula for telling them they've put on a few pounds – believe me the research has been done. Perhaps going to the gym together is the obvious solution, but
Hi everyone, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday on the 28th June.
I had a really weird birthday. I'm supposed to be in China now, but I picked up a really horrible bug in Laos which I just couldn't shake off. I was 'diagnosed' with amoebic dysentry but after 5 weeks of troubles I was advised to come to Thailand to make an emergency poo for the doctor, which I did and we found a parasite. But It's gone now. So, I spent my birthday in Chiang Rai hospital, whi
Just thought I would write some crap. I've been holed up in Luang Prabang a bit longer than expected due to a bout of amoebic dysentry. Turns out I'm not the owner of a cast iron stomach as was previously though.Anyway, I've found it hard to keep up to date with posting pics and writing journals. But being stuck here has given me the chance to upload a few pics and drop in a few votes. I've been travelling for around 5 months now. I was lucky enough to meet a few of the friends I had made on Tf
I just found out that one of my sisters is preggers again. I can't believe it! I'm gonna be an uncle and an auntie 7 times over now. I'm really, really double bloody happy. I think I'm gonna cry right here in this net cafe in front of all these lovely Lao people and all the weird arse backpackers. It's really weird, because I alway's know when one of my sis's is up the duff. It's like this weird brotherly protective instinct that I have. The last time it happened one of my sisters just looked a
Today is the birthday of a very special person. Her name is Emily. I would be very grateful if you could stop by her profile and say happy birthday to her. We recently travelled Thailand together for a month. During that time I had a brief stay in hospital and Emily never left my bedside during that time. She goes out of her way to help people and I believe she is a truely good person. She is currently working her butt off in HK and misses Thailand heaps. So, to a very special little lady - Emi
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy May Day. Being a Wiccan, Druid, Wizard and court Jester I'm over qualified to talk about this.
Lest we all forget our Pagan roots, a quick nod to the origins of the May Day celebrations, a day that has inspired riots, racism, religiousness and been the basis of much political intrigue. With it's roots firmly in European Paganism, from Nazi Party propaganda to leftist celebrations of working class and labour achievements to pre-Christian Europeans dancing
This has got absolutely nothing to do with anything.
But has anyone heard this album. I just downloaded it and it's fab!
Somewhat progressive, camper than a Volkswagen and with lashings of falsetto harmonies, not unlike Scissor sisters. Although the young Mika makes the aforementioned sound like a bunch of GCSE music students. Some sweeping, powerful string arrangements remind the listener of Kate Bush's Hounds of Love.
Owing an obvious debt of gratitude to Queen/Feddie Mercury and to the

Hello everyone, Just wanted to recommend a nice place to stay in Khorat. For B2200 per night it's a little pricey but the food is good and you get clean sheets and pajamas everyday. Although it's a little dowdy, the constant stream of beautiful women that entered my room made it worth it. Although I was delerious for at least 24 hrs of my stay I'm sure this was actually happeneing. Although I must say, when a beautiful Thai lady enters your room, it usually means something pleasurable is about
Hi,
The British Government are now trying to ban all swords, including the Japanese
Katana and other martial arts swords.
This is a knee-jerk reaction to the bad press reported in the last couple of
years.
Not everyone who owns or uses a sword is a hooligan, thug, villain or homicidal
maniac, the majority of these swords are owned by collectors or more importantly
serious martial artists.
If the Katana and other Oriental swords are banned then we will see the end of a
number of
