Some things about Thai culture that I do not understand...

I don't know what is wrong with me. At work, I am a very rational person, reliable, disciplined, ambitious. But I think that it's not good to always be a thinker. Sometimes you have to let go, just drift along, be spontaneous and do what you feel like doing. Switch of the rational part for a while. Otherwise, you cannot enjoy the beauty of many moments. Well, there are those situations we all know. I think all of us have some experiences to share. Experiences from situations in which we behaved in a certain way due to social conventions despite us feeling totally different right that moment. Let me make some examples: 1. Someone gives you a gift of which you actually think "My, my, what a crap!" But what do you do? Smile while politely saying "Oh, that's lovely. Thank you so much!"
