Well i just woke up, and looked out of the bedroom window...the damn white stuff is back! looks like i'm gonna have to chop some more trees down to feed to my hungry fire i'll be pleased to get out of here, and head to Thailand in a couple of weeks!
These pics were taken a couple of weeks ago, at my rugby club. All new 1st team players have to do this. The lucky guys they have to finish a pint, down in 1, then run up the pitch, finish another pint, then run back to to clubhouse for 1 more! and get laughed at by all the supporters i've not seen the ladies team do this yet tho! at least they had a big win that day..
The situation ... I'm going over to Sydney in December (from UK)...so i buy a ticket. Simple enough so far, right? But, last week i checked the price again, and the fare was £300 (abt 19k THB!!) cheaper. I guess that it's because of the drop in oil prices over the last couple of weeks...and maybe most people were not prepared to pay those inflated prices.Anyway, i only paid a small deposit on the first flight, so i thought i would book a new flight from the THAI Airways website, and then cancel t
It is with deep sadness and regret that i write this journal. Last week on the news, i heard about a boy who had an allergy to nuts. I'm not sure of his age, but his school made him stay at home for 3 weeks, while they carried out a risk assessment on the school. (in England BTW)What a crazy situation...So many stupid rules and regulations that people have to listen to (and they do) I also heard about some workmen that were told to put up a road sign. But they said that they couldn't do it, as thet had not been trained to use a ladder. It's true!!Finish

Some time ago, i sent this song to someone. But it seems that they lost it (or maybe deleted it???????)So here are the lyrics....Sail away with me honey
I put my heart in your hands
Sail away with me honey now, now, now
Sail away with me
What will be will be
I wanna hold you now
Crazy skies all wild above me now
Winter howling at my face
And everything I held so dear
Disappeared without a trace
Oh all the times I've tasted love
Never knew quite what I had

Finally Rehana's curse has been lifted...Ever since she started singing about her damn Umbrella (Ella), it has not stopped raining in the UK. She has been the no. 1 selling artist for abt 10 weeks, in this time we have seen record rainfall and floods. And yes, i think it is all her fault. It surely can't be a coincidence that on sunday, when Timberland hit the top spot, that the sun began to shine again? Can it?Pic of the misery Rehana caused in Gloustershire And on the farms things have been in
What a few weeks it's been here...rain, rain and more rain. And this is summer! I have had 200mm of rain in the last 3 weeks. Which is normally about the normal rain over a 4 month period. Major flooding has occured. Not good for anyone, but especially bad for us poor farmers:PThe potato crop has been the worst hit. And this is our most valuable crop. The potatoes are now suffering from waterlogged roots, and blight (a fungal infection that kills the potatoes). It look as though at least 10-15%

Thinking back to your rugby training journal. You better stick to touch rugby...we don't want your ears looking like this...that one is not mine BTW. this one is tho... it used to be a problem when i was playing quite seriously. i used to have the fluid drained out by a syringe most weeks!! and once or twice cut open and drained. nice!the cauliflower ear, as it's called, is caused by friction on the ears. it's an interesting look tho!so a word of advice to anyone thinking of taking up rugby...w
Can anyone reccomend a good photo hosting site?I have been using Photobox, and more recently, Photobucket. I know a lot of people on TF's seem to use Photobucket, but i'm not a big fan.I've looked at Flickr! before, and was impressed, but you only get a 100MB upload limit per month with a free account.Any more thoughts?

What a day so far!Started off good...woke up...no hangover! But downhill from then on Found a burst water pipe, just ouyside my back door! Under my block paved garage thingy. Lots of water coming up tru the paving ect. Not looking good. Its an old farmhouse where i live, and there are old pipes everywhere, some i use and some not. So i got my boots on and started digging....and digging and digging. Then it started raining! I've now got about 3 feet down...but still can't see the pipe. The hole
