In reference to number 1, I think people should wonder why Han Chinese are the most successful ethnic group(by numbers and not doing too bad by wealth either) around the world.When China's old dynasties conquered and controlled an area, they both assimated the others into their fold and whipped them out. Only the areas outside the center, were able to hold out because of China's external conflicts and inability to project their power out that far, enter Tibet, Xinjiang and parts of Yunnan.

I am sitting in Turkey now, soon on my way to eastern Turkey and then Rep of Georgia but I cannot wait to get back to thailand, see the power of warm beaches(no the beach here is not that warm yet) and yummy food? turkish food is ok but the taxi drivers here are in the top group for cheating people:)
I would say I like it here, the climate is pretty good, in general the people are cool, tons to see but I cant help getting excited at returning to thailand

I am now starting a new job soon, back to a normal life after far too long working nights.
I felt dead on nights, sleeep all day and wake up and work again and not even having a set schedule. Now I can at least put some plans in my life:)
I am torn between just taking off for a year and teaching in Thailand and exploring around SE, Central Asia and focusing more on career, buying a house, blah blah here.
Well, I am about 75% certain I will quit my job in feb-march and take a big trip.shhhhh
I plan on arriving in Budapest, Hungary and going through the Balkans(serbia, croatia, etc) and then over to turkey-georgia-armenia-azeribijan in the caucasus. I have always wanted to see the Caucasus and Balkans too places with lots of culture, clashing religions-ethnic groups, history(read wars) lol. Then I will read over to Central Asia if I can get visas:) and vroom over through China, Vietnam, Laos b
If Santa is listening I would love a Canon Digital Rebel SLR camera. I think I have been an ok boy this year, missed 0 days of work, late 0 times, came in extra too many times.

I saw the Passions of the Christ on DVD today, good but ouch quite painful to watch, 2 hours of killing one man.

Should I start a masters program next year? Thats whats on my mind now, it seems like a good idea and I do well in class but another 1-2 years of school, hmmmm.

Soon I might be back in Uni for a certificate program in business. I am also looking to work overseas again in the near future. Ideally in S.E Asia or the Middle East.
I should get used to the heat again though! Today was 26 c here, and I felt really hot. hahah
Big big week for me, not much sleep time.
I work everyday, and I have a exam right after my work 11pm-7am from 8am-3pm..... Ouch......
Better drink plenty of coffee but not too much, dont wanna go peeeee, till exam break time:)
Also I am exercising alot to burn that stress away:) Or add to it, one of those choices.
Run at least 3.5 miles 3-4 times a week
Lift weights:upper body 2 times a week
