Late on Sunday morning, I woke up after my night shift (was a very busy shift....had about 24 jets on frequency at one stage....luckily they weren't ALL trying to hit each other!), and decided to take my girls down to a park next to the beach, to watch a Kite Festival.So, I loaded the kids up, and stopped on the way to pick up my Mum. There are some Thai people here in Brisbane that I am fortunate enough to be able to call my good friends. They asked me to come along with my daughters last Sunday to a Wat on the Southside of the city for a Songkran Festival Day. Thousands of people came and went during the day and there were many food stalls, markets, rides and activities.It was a great day and my kids enjoyed themselves immensely!! School holidays have just finished here in Brisbane, and last week I took my two daughters to see High School Musical on Ice. They had been looking forward to it for so long. They are BIG fans of the movies and know all the songs......like most children their age. We went out to dinner first at a local restaurant near our house, then on the show. The three of us had a wonderful night .
Hi there... Took my daughters for a 45 minute drive up the coast a few days ago, to go to the markets at Eumundi. We had a great day.....spent money on yummy food, fake tattoos, little gifts for family and friends, and a camel ride!

My daughters and I had a fantastic day today. We set off early to beat the rush at the shopping centers and picked up a few presents for Christmas. Then we had three games of bowling before lunch.After that, we watched "Mr Magorium"s Wonder Emporium". I enjoyed it as much as my girls did.
