Excessive use of the word 'Miss'

I am sure many of you have heard the phrase, 'I miss you'. However in my opinion in Thailand the phrase is used excessively to the point it now has no meaning to me. To miss someone surely means you know someone. To miss before meeting, to miss on first online chat, to miss prior to even chatting..is just excessive. Dick Turpin wore a mask - Why don't Thai Police?

As a resident of Cha-Am I drive frequently to and from Bangkok for work. On numerous occassions I have been waved over by the police. Despite having a Thai driving license, full insurance and a road worthy car I have in the past been fined.
