Last weekend, Irma, our daughter Kimberly and I went to Washington DC for a friends wedding.
Irma and I both graduated from Howard University in Washington DC and we lived in the area for years. Irma visits the city for work often, but I haven’t been to DC in almost 10 years. It was good to get back and see old friends. I was able to hang out with my roommate from college who still lives there. That was a lot of fun.

Today was a very nice day here in Chicago and Irma spent the time working in her garden. I decided to spend my time taking it easy in the sunshine and doing as little work as possible. LOL!! But I did help her with a few small things, you know, man things like pulling weeds and well, not much else. But I was there if she needed me. ;-)
While taking a break from all the hard work I was doing, I decided to take some pictures of the early flowers in the garden. I hope you enjoy them.

Congratulations to Prapawadee Jaroenrattanatarakoon for winnning Thailand's first medal in the 2008 olympics. It's amazing to me that such a tiny woman can lift SO MUCH weight! After being inspired by the awesome photography of SmilySiam and lonelylove, I decide to go outside today and take some pictures in our yard. This was the first time I used a polarizer filter.Here are pictures of some of my wife's flowers. I was also really lucky that a bird came by to take a bath in our waterfall while I was outside. I don't think sending messages is a very good way.
Is it ok to ask people for their messenger ID or for their email addresses?
Or is it better to send testimonials?
And what exactly is a testimonial? LOL! Do people like to get them?
