Tomorrow I leave Vancouver and fly back to Portland for a one month extension of my contract. I've always said that if I couldn't live in Thailand, then Vancouver is the place that I'd like to be. Between this, and missing my friends here, I don't want to leave... Here's a few last photos of my time in Vancouver.
Fujico pointed out to me that I haven't posted a photo journal in a long time... I was lucky enough to get 2 weeks off between contracts and am up in Vancouver B.C. right now to spend time with an old friend of mine who had a massive heart attack earlier in the year. I've been fairly busy trying to find a apartment that's both affordable but nice (harder than one might think!) but have been taking some photos along the way. Here's a few from the last 5 days in Bangkok.
This is the last night of my time in Vancouver B.C., Canada. I've had a great time here and my live performance went very well and I enjoyed all of the other performers that night as well.I've been laying here in bed trying to get to sleep but I'm so excited about flying out to Bangkok tomorrow that sleep just won't come.So I thought I'd post some of the photos that I've taken lately, though the last 2 photos were taken by my friend Dan Kibke as they're of me playing live.
I think the chances of there being T.F. members from Vancouver B.C. who are into experimental music are probably pretty slim. But just in the off chance - I'll be headlining a evening of experimental / ambient / drone music on September 12th at VIVO media arts center, it's at 1965 Main Street.
