Long Distance Relatioships !!

U just can't be too careful when u fall in love online !! and i'll say nothing about the fact the guy was a sheep farmer from Australia !! Story from the BBC !!! A south Australian farmer has warned of the perils of falling in love over the internet, after an online bride scam almost cost him his life. Des Gregor, 56, has arrived back in Adelaide after being held hostage in the African nation of Mali for 12 days. He had gone there expecting to marry a woman he had met over the internet, and pick

well after 3 weeks in "sunny" Ireland i arrived back in BKK on Tuesday night !!it was actually my first time back in ireland for what passes as our summer for more than 6 years as i usually tend to go back around christmas or new year and unbelievably the weather actually was pretty good !! it was a fairly chilled out holiday, but i did have a good time and actually managed to do a few things i hadn't done for a long time and caught up with family and friends.* spent quite a bit of time with my

It's more than a year since i've been back, so obviously my daughter, family and friends have had it too easy for too long ... but not for much longer !!well i've been in asia now for 10 years and this is my longest spell without being home, so looking forward to getting back home and spending some time with my daughter, mom and dad, my sister and my brother and his family. also it's the first time in about 6 or

Jermaine Taylor Vs Corey Spinks

well got up early yesterday morning to watch the fight between Taylor and Spinks.in many ways very similar to the Mayweather and De La Hoya fight, a lighter and faster boxer moving up in weight to fight a bigger and stronger guy. fight went to a similar pattern, except i thought Spinks was an even clearer winner than Mayweather as did the commentators ... and judging by the reaction of the respective corners so did the trainers and even indeed the fighters. somehow the judges (on a split decisio

Bono the child killer

Just been watching a DVD of a live U2 concert, great band and superb show. Now Bono champions many wothwhile causes and supports many noble causes. However he does tend to talk a load of shite from time to time which means his sentiments are not always shared by his fellow Irish men !!! Bono is at a U2 concert in Ireland when he asks the audience for some quiet.  Then in the silence, he starts to slowly clap his hands. Holding the audience in total silence, he says into the microphone..

Vote number 1,000

well now regulars on TF will probably be aware that voting is not high on my list of priorities.however as i race towards vote number 1,000 at the breath-taking speed of approx 1 vote per day .... i have decided to give the person who hits a vote number 1,000 a special prize.now after days of deliberation (well ok 2 seconds) i've decided the winner can buy me a beer ... yes the lucky guy or girl (pls let it be a girl) will get to buy me a beer .... in fact they can buy me as many beers as they w

Ireland 43 England 13

Now obviously I'm not one to gloat when we absolutely kick England's ass but ... yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss we f**king hammered the Poms last night Ireland got their Six Nations campaign back on track by demolishing England in their first meeting at Croke Park. Three Ronan O'Gara penalties edged the hosts into a 9-3 lead before tries from Girvan Dempsey and David Wallace gave them a 23-3 lead at the break. A try from debutant David Strettle helped England cut the gap to 26-13 early in the

Samsung service centre

Does anybody know where there is a Samsung service centre in BKK. The LCD on my phone is knackered and needs replacing. I can make and receive calls, but can't read or send sms. Been to MBK already, but they reckon they don't have the screens in stock. I know there's a Samsung store at the Mall Bang Kapi, but was wondering if anyone knew of a service centre anywhere. Thanks in advance

CRAZY house prices

I thought house prices in the UK,especially London were high enough already, but i can't believe they are selling a room (YES A ROOM) for 170,000 pounds. That's around 12 million baht. un-f**king-believeable !!!It is thought to be the smallest property ever to go on sale in the UK: an uninhabitable 11ft 3in x 7ft 3in former cleaner's cupboard in Chelsea, west London. The asking price? A mere £170,000 - plus around £30,000 to make it habitable. When refurbished, it will have room for a single bed

Lunchtime viewing ... or not ???

Was sitting in a small Japanese restuarant in Thong Lor today, type of restarant with 2 or 3 tables but most of the customers sit eating around the counter, when they brought in a full tuna of I would guess 3 foot in length, which (I think) had been caught of Phuket. The chefs then proceeded to trim the fish, cutting of the head, tail and fins, clean it (remove entrails) and fillet it ... whole proccess took about 20 mins and was highy impressive and fascinating to watch. However, not sure it wo

not saying all Americans are stupid, but WTF !!!!

could not actually believe ppl would buy dirt !!!! Where there's muck, there's brass.. Their website is expected to begin selling dirt in the coming weeks People talk about selling sand to the Arabs or snow to the eskimos, but two Irishmen might have taken this audacity even one stage further. Lisburn man Alan Jenkins, 65, and agricultural scientist Pat Burke, 27, from Tipperary, have built a thriving business out of flogging dirt to America. They claim their "official Irish dirt" has beco

Real men's love ... in the animal world

Curators say a Norwegian exhibition on homosexuality among animals has been well received, despite initial indications of strong opposition. The Oslo Natural History Museum opened the show last week and says it has been well attended, not least by families. Organisers reported early criticism of the project, and being told by one opponent they would "burn in hell". But there has been strong interest in an aspect of animal behaviour the museum says is quite common. It says homosexuality has been

SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!

undoubtedly the greatest footballer ever to come from ireland or britain and quite possibly the best footballer ever to play the game passed away last night. probably all these wanna-be UTD fans might not even have heard off him, but george best could do things with a football that players nowadays can only dream about. unfortunately he packed in top level football at 27 so possibly never acheived his full potential. if he had i'm convinced there would be no arguements about the greatest player

why i didn't remarry !!!

Secrets of a happy marriage A couple had only been married for two weeks. The husband, although very much in love, couldn't wait to go out on the town and party with his old buddies. So, he said to his new wife, "Honey, I'll be right back." Where are you going, Coochy Coo?" asked the wife. "I'm going to the bar, Pretty Face. I'm going to have a beer." The wife said, "You want a beer, my love?" She opened the door to the refrigerator and showed him 25 different kinds of beer, brands fr
