:( Not Again!!!

First of all, I must apologize to Admins and TFers that nowadays I seldom pop into TF (not that I will be missed much anyway, I'm sure haha) and when I do, it is always to make some petty grouses. Ok, *not again!!!* that another guy this year who has told me that he likes me (and whom I also like a little and thinks he's cute) and wants to be my BF is again insisting that he has a Facebook account but is no longer using it and will not like to use it again. U see, he's an international student

Four More Months to CNY Back Home in SG! :D

Counting down the months to going home for Chinese New Year 2012. I'm so excited! I will make sure that this year, I will go for the after-midnight Chinatown street shopping on CNY eve itself. I know I am going to be packed like sardines, but soaking in the vibes of my hometown is now more important than ever, after being away for almost a year by Jan 2012. Hooraaaa!!!

Re: My Housemate Stole My Hairbrush! (II) - The Final Relevation :(

If there is something called stuffing a shoe in one's mouth, this will be it. Late last night, I FOUND the hairbrush between my mattress and bed frame. I only found it when my mattress happened to slip off my bed frame cos I was sitting carelessly on it and my specs fell in between the gap so that I happened to reach in and feel around. So my friend IS a good Christian gal after all... As for me, I really felt soooo bad that I immediately had to go to one of our housemate's room and had a 2hr

Re: My Housemate Stole My Hairbrush!

This is really heart-breaking (well, sort of) to talk about. A housemate who is leaving for good for her home country, whom I have always treated as a friend and looked after her interest, actually stole my hairbrush a few days before she is due to leave! Today, when she is leaving the place, I unexpectedly walked past her door and saw her combing her hair. It was with the identical hair brush which I have lost a few days ago and been searching high and low for it since! The same one, exactly th

Re: Pleased As Punch Over Handphone Sim Card LOL :) ;P

Probably this is a very silly thing to post here, but I just can't resist sharing my excitement about a mobile prepaid SIM card I just got which allows me to call back home to my home country during the offpeak hours of 11pm to 11am at a flat one-time rate of 15cents for as long as I want, yipee! And also to Thailand, which is pretty exciting too since I still can't get over my love of Siam, *sigh*. Previously, some online friends on another Thai social networking webbie had given me their cont

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/blogs/singaporescene/couple-fined-having-sex-public-20110322-031522-669.html Sorry that this is news article is the first one to in what I hope to be a series of periodic Singapore news about Thai people or Thailand in the limelight, cos it happens to be the most recent one on hand when I got this idea to start this thread today.

:) A Very Blessed Chinese New Year 2009: Bangkok / Nakhom Pathom

This is one of the Bangkok trips I utterly enjoyed. What makes it better is that we did it on a Chinese New Year, so the vibes come across as very different as on other occasions. This is not my first nor last trip to BKK, and BKK never fails to captivate me with its always unique, awesome and interesting smells, sights and people       Of course, we went to Wat Arun (how can we miss going to this Wat)?                     These are really interesting - you drop in a coin for t
