Known as El Colacho in Spain, the Baby-Jumping Festival is a popular event that takes place in Castillo de Murcia near Burgos, every year since 1620. It’s basically all about infants laying on a blanket and adults dressed as devils jumping over them a procession that’s supposed to cleanse the little ones of all evil doings. Doesn’t sound like it works, but hey who am to contradict tradition?
Just wondering if in history any of the devils tripped and fell over the poor babies!
KIN-J that mean food without meat, milk, egg and food that come from animal .Some People call this festival is Eat Vegetable Festivals. Thai Chinese believe this is a special period in every year .They start from date 1-9 of ninth month of Chinese calendar. They will make a merit, give alms by no kill animals, give life of animals, to do a good activities. So within 9 days they will not eat food from animals .Main menu come from vegetable, fruit,bean, mushroom ,etc.
