Interviewing for a job: The stress

I have been at my company (high tech industry in Silicon Valley) for over 10 years. Though it has been a great 10 years, some 'downs' but mostly 'ups', I am feeling like it is time to go to find the next challenge. So I am ready to 'move on' to something new. I really have been looking to make a move for the last 16 months. Talking to people, getting referrals, and interviewing. These interviews are crazy, I feel like I should be on a psychiatrist's couch on some of them. I remember one job

4 days in Vegas = 12 days (i.e. 1 dog year = 7 human years)

Nothing like playing hooky from work. For those of you not familiar with the term 'hooky' it means taking unexcused time off from work or school. Anyway, the weather in SF is still holding up well...it must have been 70 degrees and a cloudless sky really unseasonably warm for SF the first week of November. In any event, great day, it was the ProAm part of the Schwab Cup, not the tournament itself. Tickets were reasonable ($20US), and a hot dog (aka 'tube steak'), bottle of water, and

TF and me....

It's only been a day or two should I joined TF, and I must admit, this is the best board I've ever belonged. That may because it has a select number of people, and since most are Thai or Thaiophiles, they have good hearts and are interested in making friends. Look forward to meeting more and more people. That's my interest. As I do, I will include some pics of where I am (usually San Francisco) and what I am doing. จะดี Sam
