What a fortnight I've had.....totally mad !
Haven't time to do a full report, am in Chiang Mai at the moment, was supposed to meet Eric, but I can't find him.
Anyone spoken to him recently (online or by phone)
If anyone knows which hotel he's at in Chiang Mai (or even if he's still in CM) I'd be grateful of any info.
He seems to have disappeared.
Woo Hoo, no plane crash, I arrived in BKK.
Flight was cool, almost empty, so I had 3 seats to myself, how cool is that
Only problem with that is a slept too much on the plane and now have jet lag, it's never happened to me before, but mai bpen rai.
Was all prepared for a quiet night staying in the hotel on my first night but Eric (Thaibel) was in the same hotel and I bumped into him, we hit a few bars and bang went my quiet night, hahahahaha.
Went to KSR yesterday and met lots of TF'ers.

Today I took my family for a farewell meal to a Thai restaurant.
Eager to practice the Thai I have learned recently I ordered my food in Thai.
I ordered spicy chicken wings as a starter and green Thai curry as a main course, nothing too adventurous.
The waitress looked somewhat surprised and told me my order might take some time to prepare.

19 years since leaving home, I moved back in with my mother very recently on a strictly short term basis before I go travelling again.
