Not posted this for a good year or so, but we've been enjoying a fairly consistent weekly kick around every Sunday for nearly 2 years, just lately we've had some people move away and numbers have been just enough for a weekly 6-a-side but with no subs.
If interested we Play on the Arsenal pitches every Sunday from 4 pm - 6pm, its just a kick about no ones that good, and fitness isn't much of a problem.

Came back tonight to find our Bikes were stolen from below the BTS in Pleonchit, proper gutted as we both ride them every day, though people have tried in the past no ones ever managed to steal them as they are always locked with tough locks. Their bolt cutters trumped our chains this time though...
Shockingly the police at Lumpini station were more than helpful and drove us up to where there were taken, looked for CCTV and so on, our best bet though is if someone manages to spot them.
TO BUILD A MOSQUE
This weekend was the 9th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and Michael Moore wrote a great piece looking at the recent NYC mosque controversy from above the irrational emotions and politicking. It is a sad anniversary. 9/11 can’t be undone, but the kind of hate that fueled it does not have to be perpetuated. Tolerance has never been easy, but at least it has at some times been an American aspiration. Let’s not allow Fox news style fear tactics to shift American culture in a mo

Don't fancy signing up with True again!
So we've moved house again, and left the new tenant with our dodgy UBC set up, football is only a week away, anyone got a number of someone who can hook me up with either a dodgy UBC Platinum package, or any other cable that can get the live Premiership football?
I simply won't give True one Satang of my money.
With only 3 games a day, in the down time I've been missing something... I now know what it is......

Ok, long and short of it is.... I'm in need of a typical THAI joke, even if it makes little sense in English. In the UK we have the typical ''knock knock'' jokes, and ''why did the chicken cross the road'' jokes. Its for a book thats being published very soon, if yours gets used I'll give you a signed copy of the book, and some other junk... please please please....
First off, if you have an iPhone and its not with a True package, watch out this month if your GPRS gets turned on by an update, I just had an 18,000 baht bill from DTAC for the first 3 weeks of this month. They were nice enough to wipe it clean and explain that they have had hundreds of people come in this month and last due to this problem.. Secondly anyone know a good outlet store? We are off snowboarding for Christmas and its hard to find good goose down filled Jackets in Bangkok for obvious
As many of you know I work long hours and don't have much time to get on the internet and fool around, unlike some of you reprobates. With my precious spare time I've found a new sport, called Scambaiting......It involves Baiting internet fraudsters into sending you photos of themselves with signs or doing something out of the ordinary....... More info on this fascinating sport here..... http://forum.419eater.com/forum/index.php
The traffic lights are broken on Wireless road causing insanely bad traffic, please don't drive down this road and join the thousands of people beeping their horns and keeping me awake. Since 11pm.....
If anyone knows a supplier for these can they let me know, my last one has just gone bankrupt... I'll donate large amounts of booze to anyone who can hook me up...The tubes have to be quite thick, not the thin type they sell in B2S or Central...
If anyone wants to play 5-aside we play on Tuesday nights between 6-8pm, I leave from Chidlom, but meet everyone at Central Pinklao. Its on a semi indoor astroturf pitch, and is more of a kick around than anything else, if we have 3 teams its split into 10 minute games making it easy on the legs. Give me a shout if you're interested.
I'm sure I've seen it here posted as a journal but I can't find it....
