My married friends. The girl stays home with her kids, while the man goes off for a boy?s night out. Does she know where they go? Of course she does, but she allows it because, ?He always comes home to me?, and ? I control the money anyway?. So she turns a blind eye, and the husband comes home happy and all goes on happily ever after.

?Do you ever get sad?? I ask, "Yes, at times I do, but I have my kids ? and that?s all that matters. If I let my husband go, and he?s happy and good to the kids ? then that's all I ask. ?sigh..Is this what women are subject to ? voluntary servitude? Or is this the key to marital success?

Now what about us girls? Do we like sex as much as guys do? Of course!! Not to be a nymphomaniac or anything ? but we love sex. We love the foreplay, the sensation, the warmth, the passion, the heat and the moment. And if we cheat, it?s wrong. Why is it that we get so much crap at just the mentioning of another guy?s name, while the guys can sleep with whoever they want and we just have to accept it?

This is not to say that women should also cheat. Two wrongs don?t make a right ? wrong and WRONG! What we want is to be treated equally. Guys - don?t be a pot that calls the kettle black. If you cheat, don?t cheat, then you have every right to expect your girl not to cheat.

As I was discussing this issue with a bunch of friends ? both guys and girls ? we get a discussion group going ? both traditional Asians, those brought up abroad and those in between. The conclusion of all this is basically ? because they can, it's socially acceptable, and women reinforce the belief by going ? Oh, it?s okay? boys will be boys.?

I?m not saying that we can change how men and society think, but that doesn?t man we women shouldn?t stand up for ourselves. Ladies, don?t? let them get away with it. If your man refuses to be monogamous, if his love for sex with strangers is more important than his love for you, then he's not good enough for you.
