Hi TF members,

I am just wondering whether it is safe for tourists to travel to places like Krabi, Trang and Hat Yai.

I have heard there is still trouble in Songkhla and Pattani which is not too far away (well at least on the map any way).

I'm sure they are safe to visit.

Danger can happen anywhere,at anytime...that's how i look at it.

So just go if you want to and try to be safe.Keep checking the info about those places b4 you go is not a bad idea.Cheers,

no bad news in krabi and trang though they r close to the 3 southernmost provinces. shouldn't be a dangerous place in term of terrorist attack.

I think it's safe. Many tourists, both thais & foreigners, visit to there.
