Few days in Hua Hin helped me to clear my mind and gave me sometime to figure things out... and i can see that my chronic headache has gone....

...think its nice that we should have some down time once in awhile .....just doing nothing... sleep early, eat, massage, read and swim... those couple days were on my side as they were sunny days... so i got more tan on my skin.... and that was what i was looking for.....

Hua Hin is now developed... all the wooden commercial buildings that i once saw in the downtown area couple years ago were gone..... and become 2 storeys air con shops everywhere.....

just one thing i felt bad was while swimming in the sea and saw one couple ..... a chinese look guy middle age with big belly.. having good time with a cute teenager girl.... isnt it something we see every day in Nana, Cowboys, Phuket Pattaya???

i turned the other way not wanting to see something disturbing... but then i heard the girl called him.. "papa swim over here..."

I wanted to say sorry to them that i had dirty mind and tended to have assumption from what I saw........

The problem with doing nothing is that it is very hard to know when you are finish with doing nothing. Also how do you stand above the competition of doing nothing. maybe something like look I am doing nothing with only one hand...

A dirty mind is a bad thing to waste, hehehe. On the serious side though, you shouldn't feel bad about it to yourself. Yes it is something that is seen everyday but so often over looked. Atleast your bad thoughts showed that you have a care in the world to those bad things that go on. It's good to know that you enjoyed yourself and was able to have time away to think peacefully and clear your thouughts.

Hmm i remember hanging out for a while in sleepy old Hua Hin in my student days.Tallest building was 4 storeys high and everything was wooden.I remember loads of donkeys n stuff on the beach and a few families enjoying themselves. Incidently,The Railway Hotel there was the filming location for the French Embassy in the movie The Killing Fields. "Progress" has changed the place a bit since...mai pen rai eh!

Ahhh Kitty...well this journal gets me very hot and bothered..nooo not the thoughts abt that man and the teenaged girl..but the thoughts of the sun, sand, sea, massage...damn turned on..haha

Life is good na. You made an assumption based on a simple visual and God was nice enough to tap you on the shoulder and say, "hey, its not like that, its like this. how I inteded it to be." A father swimming with his kid inthe ocean, how nice is that.

Just think, if you were a really bad person he might have had a jelly fish sting you, have you step on glass on the beach or simply drown you. So, you must be a pretty good person.

My Dad swam and surfed with me and my borhters 3 times a week in San Diego and I'm fairly sure no one thought that we were his sex pupies. lqtm Could it be living in the city makes us harder on people?

i do agree with RC. when most of us are over exposed to city life, we may sometime see things differently, and we tend to judge other with our tinted vision.. (but again, how sure r we that they were really father and daughter ? )

not to take thing too seriously...apology, in your case, is not necessary, as i am sure the couple (what ever is their relationship) does not care anway....i had a friend, whose is farang and working in bkk, and wife is malaysian. wife is reluctant to come to stay with him here, mainly because of the being too self conscious about how other will look at her (or them)... for this, i feel sorry for them... it's not about how other look at you, it's how you look at youself that matters ....

That is sad about that couple. She should not have married him them. I've never thought Thailand was that bad on interracial couples. Is it stronger in Malaysia? I only know that Tiger Woods mother got the shaft from her Thai family when she marreid the Major. Cast her out of the family. Once Tiger became a star and made millions they LOVED them all very much. So pathetic. Because of that expereicne, tiger doesn't really give a rats ass about Thailand, and I don't blame him.
