I know I will take a hammering of this as many people do it, but I am wondering why people make these comments (One vote for you) or (How are you today?  Another vote for you...No 1095 take care) in testimonials and why people accept these testimonials.  Can someone explain this as it seems kind of stupid or childish or a waste of time?  The only reasons I can see for writing a testimonial like this is to quickly say hi and let someone know you casted a vote for them.

If I think a girl is beautiful or cute or has a nice profile, I give her a vote because I visited her profile...might as well vote for her if she caught my interest ;-)

And if she isn't a premium member, she has no idea who visited her profile, so it is a not so subtle way to potentially flirt a little.

the voting part is not really as relevant.

getting a vote back isn't important. leeting them know there is something special about them is more important in my opinion.
