Good Day TFers,I will heading off to China and HK around February next year.Any way, in the past, I have always gone straight through HK and into mainland China, but this time around, I would like to see some parts of HK.Although I have been recommended by a friend to stay in Kowloon, I am still keen to hear more from people who have stayed and lived in the city and have fond memory of places they have been to and the hotels they have stayed at.Preferably, I am interested in your views on the "reasonably priced" hotels, room sizes, services, ambience, closeness to public transport (hehe...need to get to the airport and China), etc.Hopefully, I will able to finish my job quickly and then pop over to Thailand for a bit of rest and relaxation and drinking with friends and mates. In any case, thanks in advance for any advice and feedback.

Hey Cosmo I'm in Hong Kong next week if you want a hotel checked out... I've been going there for the last fifteen years so know the hotels fairly well.. Staying at a new one this time on Kowloon side... the Prudential.

I agree with Mike...I know what I'd do...

I lived in HK...Try the Hoilday Inn in Nathan Road...Great Hotel and close to eveything, including excellent shopping and PUBS. I think the A2 bus stops right outside which will take you to the airport...

Anything more specific you wanna know PM me.

I never been to HK, but if you need to check out the corporate rate of my company with those hotels then I can assist on this but I doubt if it will be any cheaper than booking online..

I wanna go to SG and HK.. would you mind to have me joining.. we can get lost together... ;)
