<b>Christmas TLC for orphans</b>

Being a born Buddhist even with my time at Catholic school....I have never really celebrated Christmas in the traditional fashion and probably never will. But I also know it is the time of loving, sharing and giving. As I have mentioned in my previous journal a couple months ago that I wanted to spend time with the kids and help out at Father Joe's Mercy Center but that won't happen and I won't have enough time. But another TFer (CobraKai) also wanted to make this Christmas special for the under-privileged orphans so we have decided to pay them a visit on Christmas' Eve, bring them some toys, sweets and treats as well as donate some money to the organization and hopefully make a little difference in their lives.....it won't be significant but small help is better than nothing right? So we're bringing some donation cash (sorry this is all we could managed Cry I'm planning to squeeze some out of my colleagues and bosses as well but not sure if I can), board games or toys the kids can play together, sweets, candies and I would like to say Thanks to a few members on Pantip who are willing to bake up some cookies for the kids as well. Anyway, I can say that SmilySiam has been the inspiration for this (I have even stolen her TLC title). By this I mean my asking TFers to join in and contribute....it doesn't matter if you can do 50 baht or 1,000 baht. All helps are welcomed since there are hundreds of kids under the care of all Mercy Centers. If you would like to help please express your desire here or PM me please. Also if you would like to visit the kids with us you're all welcome....the kids will appreciate it. I hope TFers like us will be able to bring a little smile to their faces Laughing
