Pissed myself...

Pissed myself laughing, that is. I'm not old enough for general incontinence to be a problem. Yet. (However, my 40th birthday is coming soon.) Australians have a sense of humour apparently. Although, the topic is a no-brainer. I mean, if you can't get a laugh out of people by making fun of Americans then you're either dead... or German.Without further ado, I present: Australians making fun of Americans (a YouTube video)

Actually I do have a story about pissing myself, but I was 17 and drunk in London and the tube was taking ever so long to get where I was going....

Hasn't happened since. Cross my fingers. Knock on wood [my head].

I've been thinking about buying stock in Depends, so to speak.

Humorous, sad & unfortunately mostly true.History, geography have never been their strong points. They weren't taught that in school. The only History they were taught was American & It seems that was the only one that mattered. On Current Affairs they either cannot read or are not concerned.

It's been many years since I was at School.I can remember being taught History,Geography as well as Social Studies in Primary classes. It was interesting, learning about all the peoples on this Planet.Their Histories,Culture, Traditions, population, what they ate, what their Country produced.

Australia has been following America's lead. I don't think they teach those subjects in Schools anymore, not even Australian History.

So I suppose if you asked the modern day generation of Australians the same type of questions.I have no doubt the results would be similar.

If you think I am sticking up for the Septic Tanks(Yanks)not really, just have a soft spot for them.I remember the" Battle of the Coral Sea"if it wasn't for the Americans valiant efforts in the Pacific, we would be a Japanese Nation.I'll never forget the debt we owe them.

My first big trip by myself was in the USA. I was a hippie teenager, 16, travelling from Texas to California then up the coast to Canada. 99% of the people I met all over were just great to me. I like America.

That doesn't mean I like their politics all the time. It definitely doesn't mean that I can't enjoy a laugh at their expense. I'm quite willing to be shown Canadians being stupid, or other faults of ours, too.
