While many people do special events, parties and balls, I spent the evening of January 1st at my mother's house for a [sort of] traditional ham dinner.Living alone now she enjoys it when my siblings and their families come by for a feast. This year there weren't many of us but the tradition continues anyway. And here are some photos to archive the event.Ready??? ---> Barbie: Thank you! There's nothing like Mom's house, yes?

---> Indai: There's nothing that brings cultures together like FOOD.

---> Karma: Likewise, and I'm still working on the prosper part.

---> Pandorea: Potato - we grew up on them. My gram would slice one up, slap it in a pan with bacon grease, plop in an egg and onion and fry the crap out of it all. It was sooo good....
