What is wrong with the world today? I was just watching the news and it said that today some body killed over 33 students at Virgina Tech College and another 29 people are injured.  My heart goes out to all the familys.  I can't believe someone would go on a shooting rampage like this.  College is the last place you would expect for something like this to happen.  The news said it was the worst shooting masacare in US history!

Yes its very sad and prayers for the families of the victims !!

Maybe the Virginia legislature wil rethink its opposition to gun control.

I remember seeing a documentary where gang members in New York, where it's difficult to buy a gun legally, drove down to a hardware store in Virginia, bought 500 guns with just about no questions asked, threw them in the trunk and drove back to New York and sold them to anyone with the cash.

How many people in NYC and other places were shot and killed with those guns?

Yes it is real sad but what can we do ?

It's really tough to change all the laws, because everything is said by the people and for the people! If the people don't say anything, then nothing will be done. VA is an open state for guns, which means, if you're local and a resident of the state, you can buy guns there pretty easily, without law enforcement looking over your shoulder. But why does someone have to be crazy enough to shoot down innocent people, something definately wrong there with his/her thinking? Democracy has it's turnoffs too!

In reality yes many guns linked to New York City crimes that were sold in Virginia, Ohio, Pennsyvania, Georgia and South Carolina

I think gun crime is out of hand everywhere, guns are illegal here in UK but that has not stopped loads of kids shooting each other round here. The glorification by some so called musicians of a gangsta lifestyle in my opinion does not help these kids.

NRA (National Rifle Association) gun lobby is the most powerful political organization in the US, so very difficult to write legislation to inhibit an American's right to bear arms. The problem is, guns being as durable as they are and easily concealed, even if guns were outlawed and every law abiding person in the US told they must disarm, and actually complying with the order, criminals would still have access to guns well into the 21st century.

Some kind of gun control needs to be sorted out, its beyond a joke, but I guess, instead of banning guns they will just arm the teachers!

I think you should look at hollywood as well??? How many more years have they been pumping murder through your TV sets? A whole lot longer than MYV have thats for sure!
