Well This is bobby's journal that he want to add new journal with picture but have a problem about url address so i have to post this journal instead of him as he ask me to do so. Well my friends another year has passed and another trip to the land of smiles. Before I begin my tale let me just say that I will try my best to keep it short. I have had many adventures and met many, many fine people. New and old friends a like! There are quite a few stories and adventures centered around Nana, Cowboy and even Pat pong. I will not be telling any of these tales for a variety of reasons, but rest assured, it was all innocent fun. If went to a place on more than one occasion, I will venture to name that place collectively, meaning that I’ll put all the stories of that place together in one reading. Otherwise, my journal will be so long that I will risk being banned lol. Yes, brief is the name of the game here because I had way too many adventures to write in one journal! I also want to apologize to some that I didn’t get to call or hang out with. There were a variety of reasons for this, but the bottom line is I’m sorry! And for those who were supposed to call or hang out with me and didn’t, no worries. There’s always next time.
SPICEY CLUB There is an after hours club called, spicey that I went a few times. The place gets packed with all kinds of party people. I was there with the likes of Mel, Ralf, Anna, Steve, Ciaran, Apple , Junk, Kus etc. Had a great time except that Mel kept trying to get me to stuff money in one of the ladyboy dancers shorts! They were dancing on these table rings attached to big pillars. Ciaran tried to drag me up to one of them before I finally was able to resist (of course Mel was behind all this). Doesn’t Ciaran know that I would much rather stuff money in HIS pants? Lol Another night a few of us went there and got our free drinks just as the police came to shut the place down. No luck that night.
Dindin with Bobbyboy. After we finally found the place (leave it up to Mel to make an event at a hidden place), we actually had a good time. Jay and Kitty showed up as well as Jeff, Cherry and her daughter, Kus, Junk, Mel and me and Anisa. It was great to catch up with you guys and we need to do this kind of thing more often! Afterwards we all went to a place that Jay seemed to frequent quite often called, “Happyland” I think. This place had a crazy Aussy guy that made everyone laugh. The guy was nuts, but a lot of fun. Across the way was a birthday party for the owner of another little club and the staff and customers were dancing in the rain outside.
ROOFTOP (above foodland)
I had first gone there with Stu and Junk and others. It’s an outside kind of place, but protected from the elements. It has pool tables and tv’s with sports on etc. I ended up going there quite a bit by myself when everyone else either went to sleep or was otherwise engaged. I had a lot of good fun there.
Did some shopping at MBK and the Emporium. Also did some shopping and a hell of a lot of walking at the JJ market. After one of our shopping adventures, Mel, Anisa and I went to meet OIC and her boyfriend Walter at a Japanese restaurant. They’re a cool couple and we chatted away the evening. We also went for some ice cream after dinner.
Monday event at Gullivers.
Actually, I didn’t know that there was to be an event that night. I happened to be at Gullivers hanging out anyway and lucked out. A lot of people came and of course I can’t remember all their names, but there are some pictures in one of the journals about the event. Mike couldn’t make it and I was looking forward to seeing him again
Inch club
Anisa, Ple, Chocolatebrotha, Chocolatelady, and Anna went to Inch for some drinks and dance. Jackyb showed up later as well. We didn’t make a whole night of it, but had some laughs anyway. May85 had her BD party there also that we attended. There was some dancing that night. I like the upstairs at Inch as you can dance or talk a bit easier than downstairs. The music was rocking the house and May had a nice BD.
There’s a nice little pool hall up soi nana (4) that also has a nice rooftop place to eat and play pool. I got to catch up with Paul and play some pool there. I also went back there to play some pool with Anisa and Ple. The tables are great and it’s a nice relaxing atmosphere. Ralf took us to the rooftop place to eat on more than one occasion and it’s a place I’ll go back to again when I’m in BKK. Also the evening I left to go home, Paul took me and Anisa to a place on soi 4 called, “Steak 1” I think. The food was delicious there. I guess if you can drag yourself passed the Nana entertainment area, you can find some really nice places on soi Nana. I also had some breakfast at a new place called, “Hanrahans” right across from the Hillary 2 bar. The place hasn’t taken off yet, but has a good potential to be a hot spot for eats.
Bed supper club
I was fortunate enough to meet up with Tammy as she joined Anisa and I at Suda.Resturante It was great to catch up with her again and in person because on the phone I just can’t keep up with her (kidding). After we ate we went to the chocolate factory with all kinds of yummy chocolate dishes to enjoy. It was also an art gallery it seems.
At some point Tammy secretly hands me an envelope. I quickly put it in my pocket not knowing what it was. Tammy tells me later that she booked a surprise supper for Anisa’s birthday at the bed supper club. Later on I opened the envelope and sure enough it was a voucher from her company for dinner for two. We arrived and found that the place was actually two floors of beds. A long bed on either side of the bottom floor and smaller beds on either side of the top floor. It had a futuristic theme to it and the waiters and waitresses also wore futuristic type clothes. We had a couple of drinks until 9:00pm when dinner was served. There was a surprise course served every 15 minutes. Interesting idea. The food was quite good and the atmosphere was outstanding. I’d recommend booking this and might even do it again in the future. Thank you Tammy!
Meet up 2007
What can I say about this event? It was a really great experience for me to say the least. I met so many new Tfers and am grateful to all that showed up. We booked for 30 people, but there had to be at least 50 that showed up. I started to worry a bit because I thought I would get molested by the crowd for not having enough chairs for all to sit. Luckily, everyone was cool about it and had a blast anyway! . Some of us decided to go to Santika afterwards to see if it was the same as it was last year. We had read that Santika changed for the worse, so off we went. It did change a bit, but not enough for us to not have a great time! We danced, drank and made merry that night for sure. A damn good night for me! All in all it was a really good event and I thank you all for turning up for it! There’s a journal or two with pictures.
Ice cream with Maple
I finally got to meet Maple and her girl gang. We had a nice time and this is a great group of gals. I am quite shy in the beginning of meeting people (except on the dance floor), so I didn’t talk too much. Well, my Thai stinks so it was hard to follow a lot of what was said. The girl gang kids around a lot and are quite funny. I got a call about a friend I was supposed to meet at my hotel and had to leave a bit early, but that didn’t take away the good time I had. Thanks ladies! Oh, and I think I’m changing Maple’s name from “signmaple” to “Dreammaple.”
Londoner
We went to the Londoner to celebrate Kook’s BD. Kook’s husband and a co-worker of Anisa showed up along with Ralf later on. The food was very good and they had a live band that did a pretty good job of entertaining the crowd. A good evening was had by all.
Crepes and Co.
Ralf took Tammy, Anisa and me to this place for a nice evening. You can sit inside or outside and the atmosphere is comfortable. Tammy started this language conversation because she had studied French and the owner was a Frenchman. So, English, French, German and Thai were spoken much of the night lol. The food and service is good in this place. Afterwards I went to Gullivers and met Ciaran, Junifer and Steve the pool sharp! We ended up closing the place and had a really cool night. Gullivers is like my home away from home and a lot happened for me there, but that’s another story that probably won’t be told lol.
Pola Pola Thong Lor
A few of us went to this place to meet some old time TF friends. We finished eating before they arrived, but that’s because most of them live and work far away. It was great to catch up with them, many I haven’t seen in quite a while. We had a lot of fun taking what I call, “tee hee” pictures. You’ll see me in many pictures with my pinky to my bottom lip and acting shy. Funny thing is, many people are doing this around many parts of Bangkok. The food was good at this place and I had a lot of fun. We had to leave because we were off to the, “Anisa BD blast.”

We went to Santika to celebrate Anisa’s birthday and let me tell you, we had a complete blast! Many Tfers showed up. Some I knew, but many I met for the first time. I can’t name names as there were way too many new people I met, but I remember the faces of the ladies. God, so many gorgeous TF ladies in one place at the same time. Yes, sometimes I am a lucky guy! Everyone was dancing and having a really good time. I think this was the best Anisa BD party yet. For all of you guys and gals that showed up, YOU ROCK! You all made it a fantastic night! Especially for the lovely Anisa.
From the party, Chris invited everyone back to his new condo to go for a swim. Everyone was pretty much wasted at this point, but we chatted a bit. I remember telling Ann to come to Chris’s home so we could hang out more. Within minutes of her arrival, she was sleeping! Yep, I have that effect on the ladies lol We were bushed and decided to call it a night. Thanks again Chris for the hospitality my friend!"
ArchAngel’s BD ( Kate )
Ralf mentioned to me that we should go to Archangel ’s BD party at Luminous. I, being the kind that likes parties said sure. Anisa and I met with Ralf and the BD girl and went to have dinner. We talked a bit before heading out to the party. Thomas and his lady, Stu and some others were outside the place when we arrived. We went inside and ordered drinks. We did a little dancing, but Thomas was on a dancing binge lol. He kept pulling people onto the dance floor. He went to pull Stu onto the dance floor and Stu resisted. Maybe Stu shouldn’t have resisted too much because Thomas ended up pulling him over two tables and the drinks went flying. The staff just came over and started cleaning and moping the floor like it wasn’t anything unusual. Maybe they knew Thomas from before? Lol. Then after a little bit of partying, the lights when out on that soi. Thomas sang some military songs to entertain everyone and some jokes were told. After a short time it got hot as hell in there. I didn’t think the power would be restored anytime soon, so me and Anisa left. For the short time I was there and with the little mishaps, it was a good time.
Met with Johnny
A good friend of Anisa who I met a long time ago decided to have a cake for her. We also bought a cake so Anisa had two cakes to enjoy. We met Johnny and his girlfriend at the place. We met another young lady friend of Anisa on the way. After a short time Anisa asked me if I knew that her friend B was a ladyboy. The God’s honest truth is that I had no idea that B was a ladyboy until she spoke! Either way, B is a really cool girl and it was a pleasure to meet her. We all drank and made merry and had two cakes lit with candles to enjoy hehe. Johnny is a really great guy and has a keen sense of humor. I’m glad we decided to meet up with him.
I even had the pleasure of meeting up with my buddy Paul who showed me that there are some nice places to hang out at if you take the time to walk passed soi 4 (Nana). Who knew? I never got past the plaza before lol. Thanks Paul.
Just a quick thank you to Ralf for taking so much of his time to show me a fantastic time and some fantastic places. No need to thanks Anisa as everyone knows that she’s my number one agent and always has my back.. And yes, the rumors are true, I missed my plane flight by one full night! Luckily I got a standby so my boss didn’t have to kick my ass lol.
