I dodged a bullet!

Well, I'm back, quite unexpectedly to be honest. The doc felt that there was nothing they could do for me as an inpatient beyond what they could do as an outpatient. So I got a fistful of new medication to try and report back to the doc in a week.

In a way, it's disappointing. If I had been hospitalized for treatment I would have been glad to do that, because I need the help. But if the new medication does the job, that's even better, considering that I have no health insurance. So just have to wait and see what happens.

At least I accomplished one good thing. I didn't like the doc I had been seeing before and so when I arrived I asked the nurses to change doctors, which they did. I have much more confidence in the new one. He spent a full 45 minutes with me in his office.

Sorry, but you'll have to put up with me again!

Hiya Khun Lung...you keep a watch out for yourself mate...and get real well real soon too. Glad to hear that you feel the new doc is better - often a big part of the process is having faith in the one prescribing the treatment - if you are confident in the doc you will have greater confidence in the medication etc, and it WILL work better...

More power to you mate!

Happy for you Mike,

Disappointed, I know the reason why?

You are going to miss out on all those Lovely Nurses,

running around looking after you. Ha ha

I'm glad they changed Doctors for you.

You need to have Faith in the Physician treating you.

If that is lacking, the Healing process takes a lot longer.

Simply because you don't have confidence in that Doctor,

no matter how highly he is regarded in his Profession.

Take care. You'll be sweet.(ok) Just a thought. Do they have Homecare in Thailand?

Hopefully the fistful will do the trick and there'll be no need for anything other than a few more.

No need to say sorry KL, glad to have you dodging them bullets out here in the wild wild east.
