I really like your journals, you write about a lot of things that girls would shy away from. well, I think man wants to be a woman's first while a woman wants to be a man's last.

I think it would be amazing if you could maintain your virginity but realistically is that possible. Maybe until you are in the late teens but after that I doubt if you can preserve your virginity. Unless you live in a bubble where you have no contact with anyone. There is far to much status put on being a virgin. I had a virgin once and I never worked so hard in my life. That surgery to replace the hymen is a rather valid surgery for muslim women, as it can be broken simply through playing sports (as a lot of girls in the West do) or riding horses. An intact hymen is sort of like a 'Seal of Freshness' in Islamic culture, certainly created to keep women from sleeping outside the faith and bonds of marriage, thus disrupting the faith itself by demoting the "holy" union of marriage sanctified by the faith.

before you consider having this operation at such an early age, consider what sort of problems you are going to have when you decide to have kids, after you get yourself all 'tightened up' (which is also a bit more complicated surgery than just a hymen replacement). Best to save that involved operation for after you've had the kids.
