You won't believe what happened to me. First, when I got to London Heathrow airport, my flight was cancelled. So, I went to British airways counter and asking for the next flight to Holland. An assistant for British airways told me I was lucky to get the last seat on that flight. Then I waited 3 hours at London airport. So boring. Then after I got to Holland, British airways lost my luggage. So, i have only the carry on bag with me. There must be like 20 more people who couldn't find their bags too. I left the airport with a paper saying that British airways will try to find my bags as soon as possible and send it to me later on. Today is the second day that i'm here...but they haven't find my bag yet. I don't have anything to wear....and also my shampoo and stuffs. This is such a night mare....instead of enjoying my vacation, It worries me for how I could stay here without anything that I brought. So I have to go out and buy clothes just so i could manage my day here.

Like Sveve says.Go there and ask for money so u can buy clothes and stuff.I think they must pay u some money for every day its lost so u can get the things u need

WOW cutie I'm sorry your vacation is turning out so bad! I hope they find your bag and return it today for you. I had same problem once and took 4 days to get my luggage!

Be safe and try to take your mind on other things. Enjoy yoru time call the airline and stay on top of your luggage so can file compaint about loss and get reimbursed if not found.

Imagine....everything i ever need was in THAT bag. And because of their new regulations on liquid and aerosol. I have to put all my toilettries in the bag. And I have some problems buying shampoo and soap here. The label are all DUTCH.

Not so sure about lost luggage, don't airlines state that they aren't liable for damages and/or loss?

This might be a good time to kick yourself for not buying travel insurance.

BA lost my bag when i went to Barcelona back in March, or rather they chose not to put it on the plane....i did get it back later that night though as it came on the next flight.

u can claim it na..last time my friend claimed them for about 50.000 B ..it also depend on the conditions how much u can claim..but they must pay for ur clothes for sure just have to ask them how much

Awww what a bad experience! Next time fly Ryanair! Lol! I've been in Amsterdam 10 days ago (pity only 2 hours) and it's really lovely...I bet you'll forget your bad experience with BA soon! Oh by the way, if you have with you some great thai food and you're passing close to Bruxelles, you can leave it on my steps! I wouldnt mind! Lol!

if you go to a coffee shop and get stoned to the bejesus, you won't notice that you haven't changed your clothes in days.

generally i try to fit all my stuff in a carry-on... now you know why...

Some airlines lost my luggage on a simple flight to the uk and once to the us. It the uk it was delivered the next day at the hotel.

In the us they delivered it 3d later but they had a policy that you can buy for x amount of things to get by. It was something like 40000 baht or so. I had to wait for the money a few months but they paid (american airlines). You have to check and fill out a complaint form so there is a paper trail about the inconvenience and make sure what their policy is (have it on paper) and the amount of money they will reimburse. Hope it works out soon. Anyway... Enjoy your vacation ;-)

Oh. And since I bought my tickets with my visa card back then they also had an insurance for lost or late bags I think so they also paid nicely. Check the fine print before you shop though.

British airways sucks big time! They've been having all sorts of problems with luggage.
